Couples and travellers who come to Porto Moniz for the sea and the natural pools will feel at home here. The hotel has 4 stars and scores 9.1 out of 10 from 1,541 guest reviews. Its location score is 9.2. Pets are accepted according to the listing, but the conditions are not confirmed.
Price-sensitive travellers should look at the other two hotels we picked here. On our reference dates both were cheaper, and both score almost the same. If you want breakfast in the same building as your room, note that guests say it is served in a nearby building.
Location and getting around
The address listed is simply Porto Moniz, Madeira. We do not have walking times to named sights. Guests describe a central setting steps away from the natural pools and the ocean.
A beach appears in the provider facilities, but this does not confirm a beachfront position or any walking distance. Free parking is listed, which is helpful if you are touring the island by car. Check exact directions with the hotel before arrival.
What guests say
The location wins most praise: central, with the natural pools and the ocean only steps away. Breakfast also earns good words, described as an extensive buffet with fresh fruit and sea views, served in a nearby building.
The restaurant draws mixed comments. Guests like the sea views and the food, but some report service that felt rushed or rude. Our data does not say whether this refers to breakfast, dinner or both.
Price, set against our other two picks
For a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults, the reference price was €186.53 per night. The sample median was €183.27, so it sits close to the norm. This is not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.
Aqua Natura Bay, our Budget pick, was €162 per night with a score of 9.0 and 4 stars. Aqua Natura Madeira, our Luxury pick, was €180 per night with a score of 9.1 and 4 stars. All three come from the same hotel group, and all three score within 0.1 of each other. On those dates this one cost the most. Prices move, so compare all three for your own dates.
Listed facilities include free parking, free Wi-Fi, a terrace and a 24-hour front desk. Our facts list a continental breakfast, while guests describe a buffet. Whether breakfast is included in your rate is not confirmed.

We compared 4 eligible properties in Porto Moniz. This one shared first place on guest score, with a large review base of 1,541. It was named Best Value because it balances score, review count and price. It was not the cheapest option.
