Alameda Centro is our Budget pick for Soria. It suits travellers who want to walk to the sights and to bars and shops: guests describe a central setting in the historic district. It holds 4 stars and lists a restaurant, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning.
Skip it if breakfast is a big part of your stay. Guests say it is served in the cafeteria and many dislike the limited non-buffet selection. Also look twice at the price gap: Hotel & Spa Convento San Francisco, our Luxury pick, scored 9.2 and was only €13 more a night.
Location and getting around
The address is Plaza Ramon y Cajal, 5. Guests rate the location 9.6 out of 10.
The Church of Saint Dominic is about 0.3 km away, roughly 4 minutes on foot. The Co-Cathedral of San Pedro is about 0.8 km, around 10 minutes, and the Monastery of San Juan de Duero about 1.2 km, around 15 minutes. These are straight-line estimates, so the real routes may be a little longer.
Guests mention public parking nearby. Its price and whether the hotel has its own parking are not confirmed, so check before you drive.
What guests say
The score is 8.2 out of 10 from 702 reviews, a smaller sample than our other two Soria picks. Guests like the central location near shops, bars and public parking, and a friendly, efficient, attentive team.
Breakfast is the weak point. It is served in the cafeteria. Some guests enjoy the quality, but many dislike that the selection is limited and not a buffet.
Price and how it compares with our other Soria picks
The reference price was €77 a night, €154 for two nights. It is a reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults in one room, not a live quote. The sample median was €80.95, so this sat about 5% below it. Check today's price for your dates.
Hotel Alfonso VIII, our Best Value pick, was €100 with 8.9 and 4 stars. Hotel & Spa Convento San Francisco, our Luxury pick, was €90 with 9.2 and 4 stars. The savings here are modest, so compare all three for your dates before deciding.
Breakfast is listed as continental. Whether it is included in your rate is not confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 6 eligible hotels in Soria. Our Budget slot goes to the lowest eligible reference price once the upscale choice is set aside, and at €77 this hotel took it. Its review score placed it 6th of 6, so it earns its place on price and location, not on score.
