Families heading to the parks are the obvious match. The property lists family rooms, an outdoor pool, free parking and air conditioning, and Disneyland is about a 13-minute walk away.
Light sleepers who are fussy about mattresses should read the reviews closely, since some guests find the beds too firm or squeaky. Anyone who expects 4-star service and facilities should look at our other two picks, which are both Sheratons.
Breakfast is not mentioned in the data, so it is not confirmed. If a morning meal at the property matters to you, check before you book.
Location and getting around
The address is 1140 West Katella Avenue, and the location score is high at 9.6. Disneyland is about 1 km away, roughly 13 minutes on foot. Guests say the walk to Disneyland, Downtown Disney and nearby restaurants is short and runs along well-lit streets.
Angel Stadium is about 4 km away, around 50 minutes walking, and Garden Grove is about 4.1 km, around 51 minutes. Both are far on foot, so plan on public transport or a taxi. All walking times are straight-line estimates.
Free parking is listed, which helps in a car-focused area. Confirm that it is still free for your dates.
What guests say
The score is 9.0 out of 10 from 2,435 reviews. That is a strong result for a 2-star property, and the review count makes it dependable.
Location is the top praise point, followed by cleanliness. Guests describe the spaces as spotless and well maintained, with hard floors. Beds split opinion: many call them comfortable, while some say the mattresses are too firm or squeaky.
Price and what you get, compared with our other two picks
The reference price was €141.02 per night, seen for a 2-night stay on 10 to 12 November 2026 for 2 adults. It is not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates. The sample median in Anaheim was €146.91, so this sits about 4% below it.
You get a pool, free parking, family rooms, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. That is a short list, but it covers what most park visitors need.
Our Budget pick, Sheraton Garden Grove-Anaheim South, was cheaper at €121.04 with a score of 8.6 and 4 stars. Our Luxury pick, Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort, was €163.03 with a score of 8.8. Alamo Inn beats both on guest score and on the walk to Disneyland, but has fewer stars and fewer facilities.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 10 eligible hotels in Anaheim. Alamo Inn shares the highest review score in that group, has more than 2,400 reviews and is priced slightly under the median. That mix of score, volume and price earned it the Best Value slot, even though it is not the cheapest option.
Before you book
Room size, noise, renovation condition and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Katella Avenue is a main road, so ask about quieter rooms if noise bothers you.
Check whether any breakfast is offered, how much a room for your family size costs, and the cancellation deadline. Pool hours are also worth confirming for a November trip.
