Yes, if you want a seafront 4-star in Opatija with a very high guest score and you accept paying a bit above the local median. Skip it if extra charges for sun loungers and parking would sour your stay, or if you want the lowest bill in town.

This hotel fits couples and short-break travellers who want to be right on the water. Guests single out the seafront position near the town centre and the walking paths along the coast. The property lists a beachfront setting, a restaurant, a garden and a terrace, so it works for a slow, sea-focused stay.
Skip it if you are counting every euro. Guests report high additional fees for sun loungers and parking, and that complaint pulls down their value rating. Drivers in particular should price in parking before booking. If you just need a clean bed, our Budget pick costs about half as much.
Location and getting around
The address is Viktora Cara Emina 10, Opatija. The location score is 9.8 out of 10, which is about as high as these ratings go, and guests describe it as directly on the seafront close to the centre.
Our data lists only one landmark with a distance: Rijeka Mosque, 6.9 km away, roughly 86 minutes on foot as a straight-line estimate. That is far. Plan on public transport or a taxi for any trip into Rijeka. Walking times to sights inside Opatija have not been verified, so check a map for the places you want to reach.
What guests say
The score is 9.4 out of 10 from 542 reviews. That placed it joint third for review score among the 10 eligible properties in the sample.
Two things come up most in praise. First, the location on the seafront near town and the coastal walks. Second, the staff, described as friendly, professional and attentive.
The main complaint is money, not the hotel itself. Guests say high extra fees for sun loungers and parking reduce the overall sense of value. Room size, noise and renovation condition have not been assessed, so read recent reviews if those matter to you.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
The reference price was €152.80 per night. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults, not live quotes. The sample median was €127.73, so this hotel sat about €25 above the middle of the market.
Our Budget pick, Hotel Istra - by Liburnia Hotels & Villas, is a 3-star with a score of 8.5 at €76.19 per night. Our Luxury pick, Keight Hotel Opatija, Curio Collection By Hilton, is a 5-star with a score of 9.5 and, on these dates, came in cheaper at €132.12 per night. That is unusual, so compare both on your own dates before deciding.
Breakfast is listed as a buffet. Whether it is included in your rate has not been confirmed, so check the rate details.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 10 eligible hotels in Opatija. This one took the Best Value slot because it balances a 9.4 guest score, a solid number of reviews and a reference price close to the median. Best Value does not mean cheapest; it means the strongest mix of those three factors.
The near-perfect location score and the seafront setting tipped the balance.
Before you book
Check today's price for your dates, since the November 2026 figures will soon be out of date. Ask about the cost of sun loungers and parking, which guests flag as high. Confirm whether breakfast is included and read the cancellation terms. The property's facilities, opening times and fees all need checking for your dates.
