AmericInn by Wyndham Casper Event Center Area is our Budget pick in Casper. It suits drivers passing through, people in town for a few nights of work and anyone who wants a tidy room and a filling breakfast without paying for extras they will not use. Free parking is listed, and the listing flags it as pet-friendly.
Travellers who are fussy about bathrooms should think twice. Guests describe them as small and dated, with maintenance problems. The score of 8.0 is decent but was the lowest of the 8 eligible hotels we compared, joint with others at the bottom of that table.
Location and getting around
The hotel is at 400 West F Street, Casper. Guests rate the location 8.5 out of 10. The hotel name refers to the Event Center area, but we do not have a verified distance to it, so check a map if you are going to an event.
The one sight in our data, the Battle of Platte Bridge site, is about 3.8 km away on a straight line, roughly 48 minutes on foot. That is far, so you will want a car, a taxi or public transport. If you drive, parking is listed as free.
What guests say
The score is 8.0 out of 10 from 1,471 reviews, a large sample. Two things come up often in the positive reviews. Rooms are described as tidy, updated and well maintained. Breakfast is a hot buffet with a wide variety, including waffles, eggs and biscuits.
The complaints focus on bathrooms. Guests mention small, dated spaces and problems like clogged drains and weak flushing. If that happens, report it at the desk early and ask for a fix or another room.
Price and what you get against our other two picks
The reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026, for 2 adults in one room, was €118.23 per night, about €236 for both nights. That was 22% below the sample median of €151.47. It is a reference price, not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.
Listed facilities include a gym, a pool, free parking, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The property describes its breakfast as continental, while guests talk about a hot buffet, so confirm what is served and whether it is in your rate.
Our Best Value pick, Best Western PLUS Casper Inn & Suites, scored 8.8 at €144.52 per night. Our Luxury pick, Quality Inn & Suites Casper near Event Center, scored 8.1 at €127.56. The gap to the Quality Inn was only about €9 a night in that snapshot, so check both. If your budget stretches to the Best Western, you get a clearly higher score.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 8 eligible hotels in Casper. The Budget slot goes to the lowest eligible reference price once the upscale choice is set aside. AmericInn won it at €118.23 per night, backed by 1,471 reviews and praise for clean rooms and breakfast. It is the price pick, not the score pick.
Before you book
Check whether breakfast is included and what it actually includes. Confirm pool and gym hours and any pet fees. Read the cancellation terms. Room size and noise have not been assessed. If the bathroom issues worry you, read the most recent reviews to see if they are still mentioned.
