Book Amoure Hotel - The Leading Hotels of the World if you want the highest-rated stay in our Braga sample and plan to use the hotel itself: spa, pool, table-served breakfast. Skip it if you want to walk to the cathedral and the old town, because the main sights listed are more than 10 km away.

This is our Luxury pick for Braga. It holds five official stars and a guest score of 9.7 out of 10 from 331 reviews. Couples and families who want a quiet base with a spa, pool, gym, restaurant and family rooms are the natural fit.
Travellers who plan to explore Braga on foot should think twice. The three sights in our data are all more than two hours away walking.
Location and getting around
The address is Avenida da Câmara 22. Guests rate the location 9.3 out of 10, which suggests people are happy with the setting, but our distance figures tell a different story for sightseeing.
Braga Cathedral is about 10.6 km away, roughly 133 minutes on foot. The Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte is 12.4 km away, about 155 minutes. The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Sameiro is 13.9 km, close to 174 minutes. These walking times are straight-line estimates and have not been verified. In plain terms: all three are far, and you will need public transport, a taxi or a car to reach them. Parking is not listed in our data, so confirm it if you drive.
What guests say
Staff get the strongest praise. Reviewers describe a professional, friendly and attentive team and a warm welcome on arrival.
Breakfast is the other highlight. It is described as a varied, brunch-style menu served at the table with fresh products. The breakfast types listed are American and buffet.
The main complaint concerns the pool. Guests find it pleasant and warm, but the indoor area is small and seating is limited.
Price and how it compares with our other Braga picks
The reference price was €300.24 per night, about €600 for two nights. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 November) for 2 adults in one room. They are not live quotes, so check today's price for your own dates.
The sample median in Braga was €85.00 per night, so this costs more than three times the typical rate. Our Budget pick, Basic Braga by Axis, was €53 per night (8.2, two stars). Our Best Value pick, Burgus Tribute & Design Hotel, was €98 per night (9.2, four stars).
The extra money buys five stars, the top score of the three, and a spa, pool, gym, garden and terrace. If you will not use them, Burgus gives you a 9.2 for about a third of the price.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 13 eligible hotels in Braga. Amoure shares the top review-score position in that sample. Our Luxury slot gives priority to five-star hotels, and this one is officially rated five stars, with 331 reviews behind its 9.7 score. Opening times and fees for the spa, pool and gym have not been confirmed.
Before you book
Several things have not been assessed: room size, noise, renovation condition, whether breakfast is included in your rate, and cancellation terms. Read the rate conditions carefully, since at this price a non-refundable rate is a real commitment.
Ask whether the spa and pool are included or charged, and plan how you will get into Braga each day.
