Location and getting around
The address is Kita-Ku Ekimoto-Machi 15-1, in Kita Ward. Location is the strong point, with a score of 9.4 out of 10.
Two main sights are within a long walk. Kōraku-en garden is about 1.8 km away, roughly 23 minutes on foot, and Okayama Castle about 1.9 km, around 24 minutes. Kibitsu Shrine (Bitchū) is about 6 km, roughly 75 minutes, which is far: plan on public transport or a taxi. All walking times are straight-line estimates.
What guests say
Guests like the direct link to the station and the shops and places to eat around it. Staff also get good marks: friendly, professional and helpful, with a warm welcome.
Room size splits opinion. Some guests enjoy the space, others find it tight for two people. Noise and renovation condition have not been assessed.
Price compared with our other Okayama picks
The reference price we saw was €225.84 per night, about €452 for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults in one room. That is a reference price for those dates, not a live quote, so check today's price for yours. The sample median was €114.00, so this hotel cost roughly twice the typical rate.
Our Budget pick, Hotel Maira, was €59.85 per night with 8.3 and 2 stars. Our Best Value pick, Dormy Inn Okayama Natural Hot Spring, was €125.25 with 8.9 and 3 stars. That means the Best Value hotel scored higher for about €100 less a night. What you pay for here is the fourth star and the station connection.
A buffet breakfast is listed. Whether it is included in your rate is not confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 5 eligible hotels in Okayama, and this one shared second place on guest score. Our Luxury slot prioritises five-star hotels; a four-star hotel qualifies only with a score of at least 8.5. At 8.7 it qualifies, and its location score of 9.4 backs up what guests say.
