This 4-star hotel scores 8.8 out of 10 from 848 reviews. The listed facilities lean towards families and drivers: a pool, a restaurant, free parking, family rooms, a garden and a terrace.
It suits travellers who want space and practical extras at a modest price, and who plan to visit Ponta da Piedade, about 15 minutes away on foot.
Skip it if you want everything on foot. The other landmark in our data, Fort Nossa Senhora da Luz, is far from here. Travellers who rely on detailed guest feedback may also want more information than we can give here.
Location and getting around

What guests say
Our data does not include a summary of what guests like or dislike here. The 8.8 average from 848 reviews suggests broad satisfaction, but it does not tell you about rooms, noise, food or staff.
Before booking, read a handful of recent reviews and look for comments on room condition, cleanliness and the restaurant.
Price compared with our other two picks
The reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026, for 2 adults, was about €60 a night. It is not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates. That was 25% below the sample median of €80.
Agua Hotels Vila Branca, our Budget pick, was around €46.80 a night with 3 stars and a score of 8.7. Palmares Beach House Hotel - Adults Friendly, our Luxury pick, was about €229.50 with 5 stars and a score of 8.9.
For about €13 more than the Budget pick you get a fourth star, a pool, a restaurant and free parking. Breakfast is listed as a buffet, but whether it is included in your rate is not confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 9 eligible properties. This hotel shared fourth place on guest score, but the Best Value slot balances score, number of reviews and price. An 8.8 from 848 reviews at a price a quarter below the median gave it the edge.
Before you book
Room size, noise, renovation condition, breakfast inclusion and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Ask whether the pool and restaurant are open in November. Confirm family room layouts if you are travelling with children, and read recent reviews to fill the gaps in our data.
