AppartUnique - Résidence Bardiaux - Moderne - Centre-ville is an easy budget booking in Vichy: spotless, cheap and close to the centre and the train station. Ask for a courtyard unit if you are a light sleeper, because street-facing rooms pick up noise.

This is our Budget pick in Vichy. It suits travellers arriving by train, people on a tight budget and anyone who wants a clean, simple place within walking distance of the centre and local parks. Family rooms are listed, so small families can also look here.
Skip it if you want hotel facilities. Our data lists free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour front desk, and little else. Breakfast is not confirmed. If you want a spa or a full hotel service, our Luxury pick is a different kind of stay.
Location and getting around Vichy
The address is 15 Rue Bardiaux. Guests rate the location 9.0 out of 10 and say it is a short walk to the city centre, the train station and local parks.
The only sight in our distance data is Château de Busset, about 9.2 km away, roughly 115 minutes on foot. That is far, so you will need a car, a taxi or public transport to get there. Walking times are straight-line estimates.
What guests say
The score is 8.7 out of 10 from 412 reviews. In the provider sample it sits joint third of 8 eligible properties by review score, which is a strong result for the cheapest option.
Cleanliness is the standout. Guests consistently describe the place as spotless, tidy and well maintained. They also like the short walk to the centre, the station and the parks.
The main drawback is noise. Courtyard units are described as peaceful, while street-facing rooms hear pedestrians outside. Room size and renovation condition have not been assessed.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults were about €33.74 per night. That is 60% below the sample median of about €83.90. These are not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
The Originals city, Hôtel Harys, our Best Value pick, was about €69.50 per night with 3 stars and a 9.0 score. Célestins Spa Thermal & Hôtel by Vy Resort, our Luxury pick, was about €180 per night with 5 stars and an 8.5 score.
You pay about half of what Hôtel Harys costs and give up only a few tenths of a point in guest score. What you do not get is a confirmed breakfast or a long facilities list. For a short stay where you mostly need a clean bed near the station, the saving is hard to argue with.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 8 eligible properties in Vichy. This one had the lowest eligible reference price once the upscale choice was set aside. It pairs that low price with an 8.7 score, a 9.0 location rating and strong comments on cleanliness.
Before you book
