This is our Best Value pick in Blois. It suits rail travellers, couples and families on a city break who want a practical 3-star room close to the station. The property lists a restaurant, family rooms, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a terrace. Our data tags it as pet-friendly.
Skip it if you want a more upscale stay with a higher score: our Luxury pick fills that role at a much higher price. If you are driving a large car, the parking feedback is worth reading before you book.
Location and getting around
The address is 1 Rue Germaine Tillion. Guests say it sits opposite the train station and a short walk from the city centre. The location sub-score is 8.9.
Maison de la Magie is about 0.6 km away, around 8 minutes on foot. The Basilica of Notre-Dame de la Trinité is about 1.6 km, around 20 minutes. Château de Menars is about 8.7 km, roughly 109 minutes, which is far, so plan on public transport, a taxi or a car. Walking times are straight-line estimates and have not been verified.
What guests say
The score is 8.3 out of 10 from 4,036 reviews, a very large sample. On review score it ranked joint third of the 6 eligible properties we compared.
Two things come up often. The location opposite the station, a short walk from the centre, is the first. The breakfast is the second: a varied buffet with fresh fruit, pastries and hot and cold options. The recurring complaint concerns parking. The underground car park is described as secure, but spaces are tight and the entrance is hard to locate.

Why it made our top 3
We compared 6 eligible hotels in Blois. The Best Value slot balances guest score, number of reviews and reference price, so it is not necessarily the cheapest. Beelodge pairs a solid 8.3 from over 4,000 reviews with a price below the median and a station-side location.
Before you book
