Train travellers are the obvious fit. Guests say the station, the town centre and the Château are a short walk away. Families should look too, since family rooms are listed and the data flags the hotel as family and pet friendly.
Couples who want 4 stars and a listed spa without paying luxury prices will find this the sensible middle ground in an expensive town.
Skip it if a full, well-kept breakfast buffet is part of why you book a hotel. And if you want a 5-star stay, our Luxury pick is the one to look at.
Location and getting around
The address is 36 Avenue du Maréchal Joffre. Guests rate the location 9.2 out of 10, and they say the train station, town centre and Château are a short walk.
Musée Condé is 1.7 km away, about 21 minutes on foot by a straight-line estimate. Royaumont Abbey is 7.6 km, about 95 minutes, and Parc Astérix is 10 km, about 125 minutes. Both of those are far. You will need public transport, a taxi or a car to reach them.
Walking times have not been verified, so check a map before you plan a day around them.
What guests say
The hotel scores 8.6 out of 10 from 1,115 reviews, third among 6 eligible properties. Two points come through strongly. The location, with the station, the centre and the Château all within a short walk. And the staff, described as friendly, helpful and professional, with a warm welcome.
The recurring complaint is breakfast. There is a selection of items, but guests frequently mention empty trays and slow replenishment. Going down early may help.
Price and how it compares with our other Chantilly picks
The reference price was about €122.24 a night, around 26% below the sample median of €165.18. This is a reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 November) for 2 adults, not a live quote. Check today's price for your dates.
Our Best Value pick, Hôtel Le Chantilly, was about €168.71 a night with 9.0 and 3 stars. Our Luxury pick, Auberge du Jeu de Paume, was about €360.25 a night with 8.9 and 5 stars.
For the lowest price of the three you get 4 stars and a listed spa, restaurant, family rooms, garden, terrace, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Breakfast is listed as continental and buffet, with breakfast to go available. The trade-off is a lower guest score than either of the other picks.
