This is our Budget pick for Santa Fe. It suits drivers, families and travellers who care more about a clean room and a decent breakfast than about stepping out into the historic centre. Family rooms, a pool, a gym and free parking are all listed.
Skip it if you plan to explore on foot. The main sights in our data are all close to 8 km away. Skip it too if surprise fees bother you: some guests mention charges for early check-in.
Location and getting around
The hotel is at 3650 Cerrillos Road. Guests rate the location 8.5 out of 10, but the sights are far for walking.
San Miguel Mission is about 7.6 km away, roughly 95 minutes on foot. The Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi and the Palace of the Governors are both about 7.9 km, around 99 minutes each. These are straight-line estimates and have not been verified. In practice you will need a car, a taxi or public transport to reach them.
With free parking listed, driving in for the day is the simplest plan. Check parking rules near the sights before you set off.
What guests say
The score is 8.3 out of 10 across 829 reviews. That is a large sample, though in our group of 6 eligible properties it ranks joint 5th on score.
Breakfast is the clear favourite. Guests mention hot items such as eggs and waffles, plus an espresso machine that makes good coffee. Cleanliness also comes up often, with rooms and shared areas described as consistently clean and well kept.
The weak spot is price perception. Some guests find rates reasonable, others call them high, and early check-in fees are a specific complaint.
Price and what you get versus our other Santa Fe picks
The reference price was €111.89 per night, seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 November) for 2 adults in one room. The sample median was €230.14, so this came in 51% below. These are not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
The gap to our other picks is large. Inn on the Alameda, our Best Value pick, was €280.38 per night with a score of 9.3. Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi, our Luxury pick, was €859.25 with a score of 9.5.
For €111.89 you get a three-star hotel with a pool, a fitness centre, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and free parking, plus an American buffet breakfast listed. You give up a central address and about one point of guest score compared with the other two.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 6 eligible hotels in Santa Fe. Once the upscale slot was set aside, this had the lowest eligible reference price, at roughly half the median, while keeping an 8.3 from more than 800 reviews.
Strong comments on cleanliness and breakfast mean the low price does not come with obvious basic problems.
Before you book
Room size, noise, renovation condition, breakfast inclusion and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Check what your rate includes.
Ask about early check-in fees if you arrive before the standard time. The listing data also mentions pets and a spa, but neither appears in the confirmed facilities list, so ask the hotel before counting on them.
