This is our Luxury pick for Blackpool. It suits couples and families heading for Pleasure Beach who want a polished, spotless hotel. The property lists beachfront access, a gym, a restaurant, family rooms, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning.
Skip it if extra costs will spoil the trip. Guests complain about high prices for parking, food and rooms, and about large security deposits. If you plan to spend most of your time near Blackpool Tower, the walk is long, so another base may suit you better.
Location and getting around
The hotel is on Ocean Boulevard in South Shore, with a location score of 9.1. Blackpool Pleasure Beach is about 0.2 km away, roughly 3 minutes on foot.
Blackpool Tower is about 2.7 km, around 34 minutes walking, so it is far: plan on public transport or a taxi if you do not want the long walk. Poulton-le-Fylde is about 7.3 km, about 91 minutes on foot, and clearly needs transport. All walking times are straight-line estimates and have not been verified.
What guests say
The score is 8.9 out of 10 from 2,119 reviews, joint second of 6 eligible properties in the sample.
Praise focuses on the staff, described as friendly, helpful and professional with a warm welcome, and on cleanliness: guests call the hotel spotless, immaculate and well maintained throughout. Breakfast is listed as Full English/Irish and buffet.
The complaints are about money: parking, food and room rates, plus large security deposits. Room size, noise, renovation condition and cancellation terms have not been assessed.
