By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Boutique Hotel Melissa is worth booking if you want a 4-star room in the centre of Poreč, a few minutes from the Euphrasian Basilica, for well under the local median. Travellers who care most about guest scores should know it ranked last of the 6 hotels we compared, so our Best Value pick may suit them better.

This is our Budget pick in Poreč. It fits couples and families who want to stay in the old centre on foot and keep costs down. Family rooms, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a garden are listed.
Breakfast styles listed are continental, Italian and vegetarian, which helps if you do not eat meat.
Skip it if a top guest score is your priority. At 8.3 it is solid but the lowest in our sample. Hotel Parentium Plava Laguna scores 9.1, and Pical Resort, Valamar Collection scores 9.6.
Location and getting around
The address is Bože Milanovića 2, in Poreč's city centre. The location score is high, at 9.5 out of 10.
The Euphrasian Basilica is about 0.3 km away, roughly 4 minutes on foot. That is the only nearby sight in our data, so check a map for anything else you plan to see.
Walking times are straight-line estimates and have not been verified. Parking is not listed, which matters in a historic centre, so ask the hotel where to leave a car if you are driving.
What guests say
Boutique Hotel Melissa scores 8.3 out of 10 from 456 reviews. Among the 6 hotels we compared, that put it in sixth place on guest feedback.
Our data does not include a summary of what guests specifically like or dislike. We cannot report on room size, noise or breakfast quality, so read recent reviews before you book.
The 9.5 location score suggests guests rate the position highly, which fits its central address.
Price and how it compares
We saw €89.25 per night, about €178.50 for two nights. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 Nov) for 2 adults in one room. They are not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
That was about 19% below the sample median of €109.60. Hotel Parentium Plava Laguna, our 4-star Best Value pick, was €140 with 9.1. Pical Resort, Valamar Collection, our 5-star Luxury pick, was €275 with 9.6.
So Melissa saves you about €51 a night against the Best Value option. The trade is a lower guest score in exchange for a central position and a lower bill.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 6 eligible hotels in Poreč. Melissa had the lowest eligible reference price once the upscale choice was reserved, which made it our Budget pick.
A 4-star rating and a 9.5 location score in the city centre make it a reasonable budget choice despite the lower guest score.
