Couples and friends on a city break will get the most from it. Guests describe a central spot where you can walk to dinner, shopping and bars, and the location scores 9.7 out of 10.
The hotel lists a gym, a restaurant, a terrace, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Family rooms and a pet policy are not mentioned in our data, so families and dog owners should check before booking.
Skip it if you are road-tripping on a tight budget. Valet parking is mandatory, and guests often call it expensive.
Location and getting around
The hotel is at 15 Page Avenue in Downtown Asheville. The Basilica of St. Lawrence is only 0.2 km away, about 3 minutes on foot.
The Omni Grove Park Inn is a different matter: 3.1 km away, roughly 39 minutes walking. That is far, so plan on a taxi or public transport if you want to visit. Walking times are straight-line estimates and real routes may take longer.
What guests say
The score is 9.1 out of 10 from 894 reviews, which placed it joint third among the 10 eligible hotels we compared.
Staff stand out. Guests describe a friendly, helpful team, and they mention champagne on arrival. The walkable downtown location is the other big positive.
Parking is the sticking point. The valet service itself gets credit for being efficient, with cars brought round after a text request, but it is mandatory and many guests consider the fee too high.
Price and how it compares with our other two picks
The reference price was €154.61 a night, about €309 for two nights, seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults. The median of the hotels we compared was €133.41. Neither figure is a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.
Here is the honest part. Embassy Suites By Hilton Asheville Downtown, our Best Value pick, came in at €155.33 a night, less than €1 more, with a 9.2 score and 4 stars. Best Western Asheville-Blue Ridge Parkway, our Budget pick, was €81.60 with 8.3 and 3 stars. The Cambria wins on official star rating; the Embassy Suites wins narrowly on guest score.
Why it made our top 3
Our Luxury slot prioritises hotels with an official 5-star rating. Among the 10 eligible hotels we compared, the Cambria has 5 stars and a strong 9.1 score from a large base of reviews, so it took the slot.
