Cambria Hotel Rock Hill - University Center
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Book it if you want the only 4-star option among our Rock Hill picks and a spot close to downtown and event venues. If price matters more than the extra star, our Best Value pick scores higher for much less.

This is our Luxury pick in Rock Hill. It makes sense for people in town for an event, couples who want a 4-star room, and business travellers who want a restaurant and gym on site.
Value hunters should look elsewhere. The one recurring complaint is price: some guests felt the high rates were not justified by the amenities. With our Best Value pick scoring higher at a lower price, that criticism carries weight.
Unlike our other two Rock Hill picks, this property does not list family rooms or free parking in our data. If either matters, confirm before you book.
Location and getting around
The hotel is at 354 Technology Center Way. Guests say it is conveniently close to downtown, restaurants and local event venues. Its location score of 9.4 is the highest of our three Rock Hill picks.
The one sight listed in our data, Fort Mill, South Carolina, is about 10.7 km away. That is roughly 134 minutes on foot by a straight-line estimate, so it is far. You will need a car, a taxi or public transport.
Parking arrangements are not confirmed. Ask the hotel whether there is parking and what it costs.
What guests say
The score is 8.6 out of 10 from 232 reviews, which shares fourth place in our sample of 10.
Guests like two things most. The location, close to downtown, restaurants and event venues. And the cleanliness, with tidy, well maintained spaces throughout.
The criticism is about money. Some guests felt the rates were high for what the hotel offers. Our data does not cover room size, noise or renovation dates, so those remain unknown.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
The reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults was about €139.13 per night, around €278 in total. That is well above the sample median of €103.14 per night. It is a reference, not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.
Compare that with our Budget pick, Spark by Hilton Rock Hill, at about €81 per night with the same 8.6 score, and our Best Value pick, Tru By Hilton Rock Hill, SC, at about €92.92 per night with a higher 8.9 score.
What the extra money buys: a fourth star, an on-site restaurant, a fitness centre, a pool, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning, plus the best location score of the three. An American breakfast is listed, but whether it is included in your rate is not confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 10 eligible hotels in Rock Hill. For the Luxury slot, five-star hotels come first, and a four-star hotel must score at least 8.5 to qualify. This one is 4 stars with an 8.6 score, so it clears that bar.
In this sample, the slot went to a four-star hotel under that fallback rule.
Before you book
Ask about parking and any fee. Check whether breakfast is included, and confirm pool, gym and restaurant hours for your dates.
Read the cancellation terms, since we have not assessed them. If you are travelling with children, ask what room types can sleep your group, as family rooms are not listed. Then compare the final price with Tru By Hilton Rock Hill, SC before deciding.
