Casa Eugenia Hotel
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
It is worth booking if you want a four-star room in Morelia's historic centre at the lowest price of our three picks, with friendly staff and the cathedral about 6 minutes away. If you are sensitive to damp, read recent reviews first, because several guests mention a musty smell in rooms.

Casa Eugenia is our Budget pick for Morelia, though it holds four stars. It suits couples and families who want to walk the historic centre and come back to a friendly, low-key hotel. Family rooms, a terrace and a 24-hour front desk are listed.
It is a poorer match for anyone with allergies or a strong dislike of damp. Rooms are generally described as tidy, but several guests report a damp or musty smell.
Air conditioning is not among the listed facilities in our data, so confirm it with the hotel if that matters to you.
Location and getting around
The hotel is at 20 de Noviembre #322, in the Morelia Historic Centre. The location score is 9.4 out of 10, and guests call it central and walkable.
Morelia Cathedral is about 0.5 km away by our straight-line estimate, roughly 6 minutes on foot. Actual routes may be a little longer.
Our data does not list other nearby sights for this hotel. Parking is also not confirmed, so ask the hotel before arriving by car. For places outside the centre, plan on a taxi or public transport.
What guests say
The score is 9.2 out of 10 from 173 reviews, joint second of the 8 eligible properties we compared. The review count is the smallest of our three Morelia picks, so the score rests on fewer opinions.
Guests like the central, walkable setting near the cathedral and the historic district. The staff are described as friendly and attentive.
The repeated complaint is a damp or musty smell in some rooms, even though cleanliness is otherwise described as generally good.
