By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Book it if location is what you are paying for: the Arena is about 4 minutes away and the price was roughly 45% below the city median. Skip it if you want hotel services, because almost nothing beyond air conditioning is confirmed.

This is a 2-star room rental for travellers who plan to be out all day. Couples and solo visitors on a short city break get a central address and a guest score of 8.1 out of 10 from 148 reviews.
The trade-off is information. The only facility listed is air conditioning. Breakfast, reception hours, lifts, luggage storage and Wi-Fi are not confirmed in our data.
Skip it if you want a proper hotel experience, or if guest score matters most. Among the 40 eligible properties we compared, it sat 36th on review score.
Location and getting around Verona
The address is Vicolo Chiodo, 4, Verona Historical Centre, 37121 Verona, Italy. The location score is 9.7 out of 10, and the distances back that up.
Verona Arena is about 0.3 km away, roughly 4 minutes on foot. Verona Cathedral is about 0.9 km, around 11 minutes, and Ponte Pietra is about 1.1 km, around 14 minutes. These are straight-line estimates, but all three are comfortably walkable.
Getting from the train station or airport is not covered in our data. Ask the property for directions and whether a car can reach the door.
What guests say
We hold no detailed summary of guest praise or complaints for this property. What we do have is the score: 8.1 out of 10 from 148 reviews, and a location rating of 9.7.
That gap suggests guests rate the address far more than the rooms themselves. Read a selection of recent reviews to see what drives the overall score down.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
We saw €79 per night for a 2-night stay on 10 to 12 November 2026, 2 adults, one room. The sample median was €144.87, so this was about 45% below it. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026, not live quotes. Check today's price for your dates.
Our Best Value pick, Opera Relais De Charme - Aparthotel, scored 9.5 at €143.85, almost double the price. Our Luxury pick, VISTA Verona, is a 5-star hotel that scored 9.4 at €660 a night. Cavour rooms is the only one of the three that keeps a central stay under €80 a night.
For that money you get a central room with air conditioning. Anything else should be checked before you book.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 40 eligible properties in Verona. Cavour rooms had the lowest eligible reference price after the upscale choice was set aside, so it became our Budget pick.
Its location score of 9.7 and the 4-minute walk to the Arena made the case. The guest score alone would not have.
Before you book
Room size, noise, renovation condition and cancellation terms have not been assessed. In a central lane, noise is worth asking about.
Confirm check-in times and how keys are handed over, whether Wi-Fi is available, whether breakfast is offered, and whether there are stairs to climb with luggage.
