Citybox Antwerp City Center is a three-star hotel and our Budget pick in the city. Guests rate it 8.4 out of 10 from 13,153 reviews. That is by far the biggest review count among our Antwerp picks, so the score is a dependable average.

If you want a spa, pool or restaurant, look at our Best Value pick instead. And if room cleanliness is your top concern, read the comments below first.
Location and getting around
The address is Molenbergstraat 2-4, in Antwerp Center. Guests rate the location 9.2 and describe a quiet, central setting a short walk from the train station and the city centre.
Straight-line estimates: the Cathedral of Our Lady is about 1 km, roughly 13 minutes on foot. The Plantin-Moretus Museum is about 1.3 km, around 16 minutes. The Royal Museum of Fine Arts is about 2 km, roughly 25 minutes.
All three are walkable, though the museum walk is a longer one. Real routes may add a few minutes.
What guests say
Guests like the quiet, central position near the station. They also highlight value for money: competitive rates for a good standard of comfort and modern facilities.
On the other side, room cleanliness is mixed. Most rooms are described as generally tidy, but some guests report drain odours, dust or hair. Raise any issue with the front desk straight away; it is staffed 24 hours.
Price compared with our other Antwerp picks
We saw €86.16 per night for 2 adults, about €172 for two nights. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026, not live quotes. Check today's price for your dates.
The sample median was €129.16, so Citybox was about 33% below. Our Best Value pick, Van der Valk Hotel Park Lane Antwerpen, a four-star, was €123.66 per night with an 8.8. Our Luxury pick, Botanic Sanctuary Antwerp, a five-star, was €893 per night with a 9.0.
Paying about €37 a night more for Van der Valk gets you a slightly higher score plus spa, pool and gym. If you only need a bed and a good base, Citybox saves that money.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 11 eligible properties in Antwerp, and Citybox shared fifth place for review score. It took the Budget slot because €86.16 was the lowest eligible reference price after reserving the upscale choice. A large, steady review base at a third below the median made it a sound pick.
