Comfort Suites St Augustine Historic District Area is our Luxury pick for St. Augustine. It suits drivers, families who need family rooms, and travellers who value a spotless room and a pool over a walkable address.
It is a poor fit if you want to step out of the door into the old town. The Cathedral Basilica is about 41 minutes away on foot and the beach is over two hours. Expect to drive or take a taxi most days.
Location and getting around
The address is 3150 North Ponce de Leon, and the location score is 8.9. Guests describe a short drive to the historic district and mention a trolley stop nearby.
Walking times are straight-line estimates. Fort Mose is 0.8 km away, about 10 minutes. The Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine is 3.3 km away, around 41 minutes, which is far on foot. St. Augustine Beach is 10.2 km away, about 128 minutes. For both of those, plan on public transport or a taxi.
What guests say
The score is 8.9 out of 10 from 1,035 reviews. Room cleanliness gets the strongest praise: guests call rooms spotless, modern and well maintained throughout their stay.
The main complaint is breakfast. Hot options are available, but the dining area gets crowded and uses disposable cutlery.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
The reference price was €100.69 per night, seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 Nov) for 2 adults in one room, about €201.38 in total. It is a reference price, not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.
Our Budget pick, Hampton Inn St Augustine Downtown Historic Distric, was €99.81 per night with an 8.8 score and 3 stars. Our Best Value pick, Marker 8 Hotel and Marina, was €207.75 per night with a 9.2 score and 3 stars. That makes this Luxury pick almost the same price as the Budget one and about half the Best Value price. On these dates, the labels say more about star rating than cost.
Listed facilities include a swimming pool, fitness centre, family rooms, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. American and buffet breakfast styles are listed. Whether breakfast is included in your rate is not confirmed.
