Continental Plaza Beach Resort is our Best Value pick in Sharm El Sheikh. It suits couples and families who plan to spend most of their time at the resort. The property lists a beachfront location, a pool, a spa, a gym, a restaurant, a garden, a terrace and family rooms.
Guests who value a warm welcome tend to leave happy, since the staff draw consistent praise.
It is less suited to travellers who want to be in town every evening, because guests note the resort is some distance from the town centre. Anyone who is strict about room upkeep should also read the guest comments below.
Location and getting around
The resort is in the Garden Bay area, with the address listed as El Pasha Bay, PO Box 128. Guests rate the location 8.7 out of 10 and describe a beautiful seaside setting with scenic views.
The same guests point out the distance from the town centre. We have no verified walking times to any sights, so plan on taxis or organised transfers for trips out. Free parking is listed if you have a car.
What guests say
The average is 8.4 out of 10 from 436 reviews, which placed it joint seventh of 8 eligible properties in the sample.
Staff are the standout: friendly, helpful and professional, with a warm welcome on arrival. The seaside setting and views also get plenty of love.
Room condition is the weak spot. The units are described as spacious and tidy, yet some guests report dust, dirt and worn furniture. It is worth reading the most recent reviews to see whether this is still an issue.
Price and how it compares with our other picks
For 10 to 12 November 2026, 2 adults and one room, the reference price seen was €148.33 a night, about €296.66 for the stay. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026, not live quotes. Check today's price for your dates.
That is close to the sample median of €144.56 a night. Our Budget pick, Hollywood Aqua Park Sharm El-Sheikh, was €91.50 a night with an 8.3 score and 4 stars. Our Luxury pick, Pickalbatros Golf Luxury Suites - All Inclusive, was €204.19 a night with a 9.4 score and 5 stars.
Honestly, the Luxury pick scores a full point higher for about €56 more a night. Continental Plaza makes sense if you want beachfront facilities at a mid-range price. Breakfast options listed are continental, halal and buffet.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 8 eligible hotels in Sharm El Sheikh. The Best Value slot balances guest score, number of reviews and reference price, so it is not necessarily the cheapest hotel. Continental Plaza offered a beachfront 4-star resort with a long facility list at around the median rate, which is why it earned the spot despite a middling score in this sample.
Before you book
Check what your rate includes. Breakfast inclusion has not been assessed, and the Luxury pick is all inclusive, which changes the comparison.
Room size, noise, renovation condition and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Given the reports of worn furniture, look at recent guest photos. Confirm spa and pool hours and any fees, and arrange transport to town in advance if you plan evenings out.
