This is our Budget pick in Toronto. It suits drivers, business travellers with meetings in North York and families on a budget: family rooms, a gym and a restaurant are listed, and pets are tagged as accepted. Guests highlight easy highway access.
Skip it if you want to walk to the main sights. Everything in our data on central Toronto is more than two hours away on foot. Also skip it if a good-value hotel breakfast matters: guests say it is tasty but expensive, with service sometimes slow.
Location and getting around
The address is 900 York Mills Rd, in North York. Guests rate the location 8.5 out of 10 and mention easy highway access, restaurants and shops nearby, and city skyline views.
Walking times are straight-line estimates. The Royal Ontario Museum is about 10.5 km away, roughly 131 minutes on foot. Maple Leaf Gardens is 10.8 km, about 135 minutes. Sankofa Square is 11.4 km, about 143 minutes. All three are far, so you will need public transport, a taxi or a car to reach them.
What guests say
The score is 8.0 out of 10 from 456 reviews. That is decent, but it is the lowest score among our three Toronto picks, and lower than most hotels in the wider sample.
Guests like the staff, described as friendly, helpful and welcoming, and the location for drivers. The breakfast gets mixed comments: good variety and taste, but expensive, with occasional slow service.
Price and how it compares with our other two picks
Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026, for 2 adults in one room, were about €183.68 per night. These are not live quotes; check today's price for your dates.
Toronto is expensive, and this is a budget pick only in that context. Our Best Value pick, Pantages Hotel Toronto Centre, came in at about €298.02 per night with a score of 8.8. Our Luxury pick, SoHo Hotel Toronto, was about €496.84 per night with a score of 9.0. So you save about €114 per night compared with Pantages, but you give up a central location and almost a full point of guest score.
Listed facilities are free Wi-Fi, a restaurant, a fitness center, air conditioning and a garden. Breakfast type and inclusion are not confirmed in our data; guests describe it as expensive, so assume it costs extra unless your rate says otherwise.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 17 hotels in Toronto. Our Budget slot takes the lowest eligible reference price once the upscale choice is set aside. This hotel had that price, well under the sample median, with an 8.0 score and a 4-star rating. It is the cheapest way into our Toronto list, with clear tradeoffs on location.
Before you book
Work out how you will reach the places you want to see and add that cost to the room rate. Check whether breakfast is included and what it costs if not. Ask about parking, since our data does not confirm whether it is free.
Room size, noise, renovation condition and cancellation terms have not been assessed.
