This is our Luxury pick for Trouville-sur-Mer. It has five official stars, and the property lists a spa, a pool, a gym, a restaurant, a terrace and a beachfront setting. Couples on a short coastal break are the obvious fit. Families may like it too, since family rooms are listed.
Skip it if you want a spacious, quiet spa. Guests find the seawater pool and sensory showers relaxing, but also say the area can be small, crowded and worn. Our other two picks cost far less per night.
Location and getting around
The address is Boulevard de la Cahotte. The booking provider places it in an area it labels The Real Heart of Deauville, although the hotel is in Trouville-sur-Mer. Its location score is 9.6 out of 10.
Guests describe a central setting facing the sea, with easy access to the beach and shops. Our data has no walking times to specific sights, so check a map against your plans. Parking is not listed in our facts, so ask the hotel if you are driving.
What guests say
The score is 8.6 out of 10 from 675 reviews, joint second among four eligible properties in the provider sample.
Praise centres on the staff, described as friendly, professional and attentive, and on the sea-facing location. The main complaint is the spa: relaxing, yet sometimes small, crowded and showing wear. For a hotel built around thalasso, weigh that honestly.
Price and value against our other Trouville picks
The reference price was €245.92 per night, about €492 for two nights. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults in one room, not live quotes. The sample median was €140.33 per night.
Our Budget pick, Hôtel Le Fer à Cheval, was €131.74 per night with a score of 8.7. Our Best Value pick, Best Western Plus Hostellerie Du Vallon, was €148.52 with a score of 8.4. Here you pay roughly €100 more per night for five stars, the seafront and the spa. If those are not priorities, the Budget pick scores slightly higher for much less.
Listed breakfast styles are continental, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and buffet. Whether breakfast is included in your rate is not confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared four eligible hotels in Trouville-sur-Mer. Five-star hotels get priority for the Luxury slot, and a four-star fallback would need at least 8.5. This one has five official stars, an 8.6 score and a 9.6 location score, which made it the clear upscale choice.
