Delta Hotels by Marriott Tudor Park Country Club is our Best Value pick for Maidstone. It suits drivers, families and couples who want facilities on site: a pool, a spa, a gym, a restaurant, a garden and a terrace are listed, with free parking and family rooms.
Skip it if you plan to walk everywhere. Every nearby sight in our data is more than 40 minutes away on foot. Also skip it if you dislike paying hotel prices for food and drink, a point guests raise.
Location and getting around
The address is Ashford Road, Bearsted. The location score is 8.8. By straight-line estimate, Leeds Castle is 3.5 km away, about 44 minutes on foot. Allington Castle is 6.1 km, about 76 minutes, and West Malling is 12.4 km, about 155 minutes.
All three are far, so you will need a car, public transport or a taxi. Walking times have not been verified. Check how you will reach Maidstone town centre before booking, as that distance is not confirmed in our data.
What guests say
The score is 8.3 out of 10 from 1,340 reviews, a large sample. Staff are the top positive: guests describe a friendly, professional and helpful team. Breakfast follows, with a wide choice of hot and cold dishes.
The common complaint is value. Some guests find room rates reasonable, but food and drink prices are seen as high. Budget for meals or plan to eat out.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026, for 2 adults, came to €159.71 per night, around €319 for both nights. The sample median was €138.34, so Tudor Park sat above it. These are not live quotes; check today's price for your dates.
Our Budget pick, Holiday Inn Maidstone-Sevenoaks by IHG, scored 8.0 at €128.23 a night. Our Luxury pick, Chilston Park Hotel, scored 8.6 at €138.72. All three are 4 stars. Plainly put, Chilston Park was €21 cheaper and scored higher on those dates. Tudor Park's case rests on its listed leisure facilities, its free parking and a breakfast that guests like, listed as continental, full English or Irish, vegetarian and buffet.
Why it made our top 3
Only 4 eligible properties were compared in Maidstone. Tudor Park shared second place on guest score and has 1,340 reviews behind it, which makes its rating well supported. The Best Value slot weighs score, review volume and price; it is not a promise of the lowest rate.
