This is the only 5-star among our Iquitos picks. It suits travellers who want a pool, spa, gym, restaurant, air conditioning and a terrace in one place. Guests also praise the staff, which helps on a demanding trip.
Skip it if you are on a budget. At about €127 a night it cost more than double the sample median. Also skip it if breakfast is a priority, as guest views on it are mixed.
Location and getting around
The address is Jr. Napo 258, in what the booking data calls the top-rated area of Iquitos. The location score is 9.3.
Guests describe a central setting on the main square, near shops and restaurants. Our distance data shows Iquitos Cathedral at 2.3 km, about 29 minutes on foot as a straight-line estimate. Those two points do not sit well together, and walking distances have not been verified, so check the exact position on a map before you plan your days on foot.
What guests say
The score is 8.5 out of 10 from 281 reviews. Guests like the central position near shops and restaurants. They also describe the team as friendly, helpful and efficient, with a warm welcome.
Breakfast splits opinion. Some find the options tasty, but others call the selection limited and average, which stands out at this price level.
Price and how it compares with our other picks
Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults put this hotel at about €127.03 a night, roughly €254 for two nights. The sample median was €49.53 a night, so this is around two and a half times the middle of the market. These are not live quotes.
Our Budget pick, El Dorado Express Hotel, was €25.91 a night with a score of 8.4. Our Best Value pick, Casa Morey, is a 4-star at €65.95 a night with a higher score of 9.1. Casa Morey costs about half as much and rates better with guests, so this hotel only makes sense if you specifically want its pool, spa and gym.

We compared 10 eligible properties in Iquitos. This hotel was joint seventh on guest score. It holds 5 official stars, and our Luxury category gives priority to 5-star hotels, which is why it was chosen over higher-rated places with fewer stars.
