Sightseers who want to walk to the old city are the ideal guests. Reviews say the Bell Tower, the City Wall and the Muslim Quarter are within walking distance, and the location score is 9.6. Families can ask for one of the listed family rooms, and a gym and restaurant are available.
Skip it if an official five-star rating matters to you. The 5 stars here are estimated by the property itself. Travellers on a tight budget may also prefer our other picks, which cost much less for scores that are not far behind.
Location and getting around
The address is 25 Meters to the East of 20 Nan Yuan Men Mid Fen Xiang, in the Beilin district. The Great Mosque of Xi'an is about 1 km away, roughly 13 minutes on foot, and the Small Wild Goose Pagoda about 1.7 km, around 21 minutes.
The Giant Wild Goose Pagoda is a different matter. At about 4.3 km and 54 minutes on foot, it is far, so plan on public transport or a taxi. All of these times are straight-line estimates and have not been verified. Free parking is listed if you have a car.
What guests say
Location comes first in reviews. Guests describe the hotel as central and walkable to the Bell Tower, the City Wall and the Muslim Quarter, which covers most of what first-time visitors want.
Breakfast is the other highlight. The buffet mixes Chinese and Western dishes, with fresh noodles and an egg station. The property lists continental, vegetarian, gluten-free, Asian and buffet options. Our data had no recurring guest complaints for this hotel, but that does not mean there are none, so read a few recent reviews.
