Eco Stay is our Best Value pick in Curitiba, Brazil. It is a four-star property with a guest score of 9.2 out of 10, and the reference price was well under half the local median.
It makes sense for couples, budget-aware travellers and families who want to be close to the centre. The property lists family rooms, a gym, a pool, free parking, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning, which is a long list for the price.
The weak spot is the size of the evidence. A score built on 194 reviews is useful but less settled than one built on thousands. We also have no summary of what guests like or dislike, so there is less to go on than usual. If you want a hotel with a long track record, our Luxury pick has a higher score, though at a far higher price.
Location in Curitiba City Center
The address is Rua Lamenha Lins, 71, in the Curitiba City Center area. Guests rate the location 9.6 out of 10, one of the strongest figures in the data.
By straight-line estimate, the Cathedral Basilica Minor of Our Lady of Light is about 1.1 km away, roughly a 14-minute walk. The Oscar Niemeyer Museum is 3.2 km away, about 40 minutes on foot, and the Botanical Garden of Curitiba is 3.8 km away, about 48 minutes. Both of those are far for walking, so plan on public transport or a taxi.
These times are estimates, not measured routes. Check the actual route on a map before you rely on them.
What guests say
The headline number is clear: 9.2 out of 10 from 194 reviews, which placed Eco Stay joint second on guest score among 14 eligible properties in our sample.
Beyond that, our data has no summary of specific praise or complaints. We cannot tell you how guests rate the rooms, the staff, the noise or the breakfast. Read the most recent reviews on the booking page, and sort by date so you see current comments rather than old ones.
Price and value against our other two Curitiba picks
Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 November, 2 adults, one room) were about €45.38 per night, around €91 for both nights. The sample median was €97.03 per night, so Eco Stay came in 53% below it. These are not live quotes; check today's price for your dates.
Our Budget pick, Rede Andrade Braz, was about €32.33 per night, with a score of 8.4 and three stars. Our Luxury pick, Nomaa Hotel, was about €261.12 per night, with a score of 9.5 and five stars.
So for roughly €13 more per night than the Budget pick, you gain a star and 0.8 points of guest score. The Luxury pick scores 0.3 higher but costs more than five times as much.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 14 eligible properties in Curitiba. The Best Value slot weighs guest score, number of reviews and reference price together, so it does not simply go to the cheapest hotel.
Eco Stay combined a 9.2 score, a 9.6 location rating, a useful set of listed facilities and a price far below the median. That mix was hard to beat.
