This is our Best Value pick in Bacolod. It is a 3-star property with the highest guest score of the 8 eligible properties we compared, at a reference price well below the city median.
It suits couples and solo travellers on a budget who still want a pool and air conditioning. The listed facilities are short and clear: a swimming pool, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi.
Skip it if you need a restaurant, a gym or parking on site, as none of these appear in our data. Be aware too that the score comes from 57 reviews, a smaller base than many hotels, so one unusual season can move it more.
Location and getting around
The address is San Juan Street, Bacolod. The location score is 9.5 out of 10, which is strong.
San Sebastian Cathedral (Bacolod) is about 0.8 km away, roughly 10 minutes on foot as a straight-line estimate. That makes the cathedral area easy to reach on foot. For other places, we do not have verified distances, so check the address on a map against your plans. If you arrive by car, confirm parking with the property, because it is not listed.
What guests say
The guest score is 8.9 out of 10 from 57 reviews, joint first of the 8 eligible properties in the sample.
Our data does not include a summary of specific guest likes or dislikes for this property. We will not invent them. Before booking, read the most recent reviews on the booking page and look for comments on cleanliness, noise, the pool and check-in, since none of those are assessed here.
Price compared with our other two picks
The reference price was about €28.02 per night, seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults. That is roughly €56 for two nights and about 41% below the sample median of €47.82. It is a reference price, not a live quote. Check today's price for your dates.
The Suites at Calle Nueva, our Budget pick, was about €25.44 per night with 3 stars and a score of 8.0. It saves only around €2.60 a night but scores almost a point lower.
Seda Capitol Central Bacolod City, our Luxury pick, was about €66.31 per night with 4 stars and a score of 8.8. It costs more than double for a score that is slightly lower.
On these numbers, Ecostay @ Amaia is the strongest balance of score and price in Bacolod. Breakfast is not confirmed in our data.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 8 eligible hotels in Bacolod. Our Best Value pick weighs guest score, number of reviews and reference price; it does not have to be the cheapest. Ecostay @ Amaia led on score, sat 41% under the median price and had a strong location score, so it won the slot even with a modest review count.
Before you book
Room size, noise, renovation condition, breakfast inclusion and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Read the description and cancellation terms for your exact rate.
Ask whether breakfast is offered, check pool opening hours and confirm parking if you need it. Because the review count is small, scan the newest reviews for any recent change in standards.
