For a budget pick, the facility list is long. You get a gym, a spa and wellness centre, a restaurant, a terrace, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning, and the property is tagged as pet friendly. That makes it a good fit for couples who want some comfort without paying luxury prices.
If you care most about the highest guest score, this is not the strongest of our three. Both alternatives score higher, and the price gaps on the reference dates were small. Pet rules and charges are not confirmed, so check them if needed.
Location and getting around
The address is Pilarikova 5 in Stare Mesto, the old town, and guests rate the location 9.5. St Martin's Cathedral is about 0.4 km away, roughly 5 minutes on foot. Bratislava Castle is about 0.5 km, around 6 minutes, and the Most SNP bridge about 0.8 km, around 10 minutes.
These are straight-line estimates and the provider notes they have not been verified, so real walks may take longer, especially with the climb towards the castle. Parking is not covered in our data; check if you plan to drive.
What guests say
The score is 8.9 out of 10 from 6,096 reviews, the largest review base of our three Bratislava picks. A score that high from that many guests suggests consistent standards.
Our data does not include a summary of specific guest likes or dislikes for this hotel. We cannot tell you what people praise or criticise most, so read recent reviews for comments on rooms, noise and breakfast. Breakfast is listed as a buffet.
Price and how it compares with our other Bratislava picks
The reference price was €117.70 per night, seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults in one room, about €235 for both nights. That was 16% below the sample median. It is not a live quote; check today's price for your dates.
Our Best Value pick, LOFT Hotel Bratislava, a 4-star, was €128.93 per night with a 9.4. Our Luxury pick, Marrol's Boutique Hotel, a 5-star, was €159 with a 9.2. The spread between all three was only about €41 a night, so small price swings on your dates could change which one is the better deal.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 10 candidate hotels in Bratislava. After reserving the upscale choice, Falkensteiner had the lowest eligible reference price. It sat joint seventh of 10 on review score, but an 8.9 from over six thousand reviews and a full facility list give it real substance as a budget option.
