Sightseers on a budget get the most from it. Three of Kanazawa's best-known sights are within about 15 minutes on foot, and the reference price was less than half the local median.
Skip it if you want a gym, a spa or a pool. Listed facilities are a restaurant, a garden, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Its score, while solid, was also near the bottom of our sample.
Location and getting around
The address is 3-30 Oyama Machi, in an area of Kanazawa that guests rate highly. The location score is 9.0.
This is the strong point. Oyama Shrine is about 0.3 km away in a straight line, roughly 4 minutes on foot. The 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art is about 1 km, roughly 13 minutes. Kenroku-en is about 1.1 km, roughly 14 minutes. These are straight-line estimates, so allow a little extra.
How far the main station is from here is not confirmed in our data. If you are arriving by train, check the route on a map. Parking is not listed either, so drivers should ask the hotel.
What guests say
Our data does not include a summary of specific guest likes or dislikes for this hotel. What we have is the overall rating: 8.6 from 1,179 reviews, plus 9.0 for location.
That score placed it joint 11th of 12 eligible hotels in our sample. In a city where many hotels score well, 8.6 is a decent result rather than a standout one. Read recent reviews on your booking site for detail on rooms, noise and service.
