Yes, this is a sound booking for drivers, families and event visitors who want a well-rated 3-star base near the Lenovo Center at a price just under the local median. Skip it if you want to walk to museums or downtown Raleigh, because the main sights listed are far on foot.

This is our Best Value pick in Cary. It suits people arriving by car, families who want family rooms and a pool, and anyone heading to games or concerts at the Lenovo Center or to WakeMed Soccer Park. Pets are listed as accepted, which helps if you travel with a dog, but confirm the conditions and any fee before you book.
It is a weaker fit if you have no car. The cultural sights in our data sit between 58 and 91 minutes away on foot, so you will rely on taxis or public transport.
Location and getting around Cary
The address is 111 Hampton Woods Lane. Guests rate the location 9.5 out of 10, and they mention easy access to the Lenovo Center, the I-40 highway and RDU airport.
WakeMed Soccer Park is about 0.9 km away, roughly 11 minutes on foot. The North Carolina Museum of Art is 4.6 km away, about 58 minutes walking, and Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral in Raleigh is 7.3 km away, about 91 minutes. Both of those are far, so plan on a taxi, a ride-hail car or public transport. These walking times are straight-line estimates, not measured routes, so real times can be longer.
What guests say
The average score is 9.1 out of 10 across 439 reviews. In the sample we checked, that put it joint first of 9 eligible properties for guest score.
Staff get the most praise. Guests describe a friendly, attentive team and a warm welcome. Location is the other strong point, mainly for road access and the arena.
The weak spot is the front desk process. Some guests found check-in and check-out smooth, but others report billing errors and being given keys to rooms that were already occupied. Check your bill at checkout.
Price and how it compares with our other Cary picks
The reference price was €154.65 per night, so about €309 for two nights. That is a reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults, not a live quote. The sample median was €157.10, so this sits about 2% below the middle of the market. Check today's price for your own dates.
For that money you get a 3-star hotel with a fitness centre, an outdoor pool, family rooms, air conditioning, a terrace and free parking, as listed by the property. Breakfast is listed as continental and buffet, but whether it is included in your rate is not confirmed.
Our Budget pick, Sonesta ES Suites Raleigh Cary, came in at €127.46 a night with a score of 8.8. Our Luxury pick, DoubleTree by Hilton Raleigh-Cary, is a 4-star hotel at €158.22 with the same 9.1 score. The gap to the DoubleTree is under €4 a night, so compare both on your dates.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 9 hotels in Cary. This one shared the top guest score, has a solid number of reviews behind it and was priced slightly below the median. It is not the cheapest option in town.
Before you book
Room size, noise levels, renovation condition and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Read the room description and the cancellation policy for your rate.
Confirm whether breakfast is included, whether the pool is open in November and whether parking is still free. If you bring a pet, ask about the rules and any charge. On arrival, check that your key opens an empty room and look over your bill before leaving.
