This is our Budget pick for Hat Yai, a three-star hotel at €19.29 per night at reference. It suits travellers with a car or a taxi budget who value calm nights over a central address.
The property lists a gym, a pool, a restaurant, free parking, family rooms, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Families get a cheap option with space to park.
If you plan to explore on foot, look elsewhere. The area is residential, and guests describe the markets and centre as a short drive, not a walk. Also skip it if you were counting on the pool: it is the main complaint.
Location and getting around
The address is 44, Noppakaow-Rimmaung Road, Korhong, Songkla. The location score is 7.9 out of 10, the weakest number on this page and a fair warning.
Guests describe a quiet residential area a short drive from markets and the city centre. The one sight in our data is the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Natural History Museum, 4.2 km in a straight line, about 53 minutes on foot. That is far, so plan on a taxi, a ride app or your own car.
What guests say
The score is 8.2 out of 10 from 938 reviews. Among six eligible properties in the provider sample, it ranks joint fifth on score.
Staff stand out. Guests mention a friendly, helpful team with attentive service and help with luggage. The quiet surroundings are the other plus.
The pool is the weak point. It is a decent size, but guests often report it as dirty, slippery or in need of maintenance.
Price and value against our other Hat Yai picks
At €19.29 per night, two nights came to about €39. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults in one room, not live quotes. The sample median was €47.56, so this was 59% below.
Our Best Value pick, Lee Gardens Plaza Hotel - SHA Plus, scored 8.7 at €48.04 per night. Our Luxury pick, Monkham Village Hat Yai, scored 8.8 at €54.66 with four stars. Prices in Hat Yai are low across the board, so the gap is under €36 per night. For that, the other two give you higher scores. Here, you save money and accept a less central spot.
Why it made our top 3
We compared six eligible hotels in Hat Yai. The Budget slot goes to the lowest eligible reference price after the upscale choice is reserved. Hatyai Signature had that price, and 938 reviews averaging 8.2 suggest it delivers what most guests expect.
