Hilton Garden Inn Arcadia/Pasadena Area
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Worth booking if you want the lowest price among our Arcadia picks and a clean, well-placed room near Santa Anita Park. Light sleepers should look at our other two picks, because noise is the main complaint.

Our Budget pick in Arcadia fits travellers who want to save money without dropping far on quality. The guest score is 8.3 out of 10 from 122 reviews, and guests describe the hotel as well maintained, updated and tidy. Family rooms are listed, which helps if you travel with children.
Light sleepers should think carefully. Guests report poor soundproofing, with noise from neighbours, from hallway facilities and from loud air conditioning units. If quiet matters most, consider paying a little more.
Location and getting around
The hotel is at 199 North Second Avenue. Guests say it is convenient for downtown, parks and a shopping mall, and the location score is 9.1.
All walking times below are straight-line estimates and have not been verified. Santa Anita Park is about 1.7 km away, roughly 21 minutes on foot. Temple City, California, is about 5.3 km away, or 66 minutes walking, and the Huntington Library is about 7.9 km away, or 99 minutes. Both are far, so plan on public transport or a taxi.
What guests say
Two things earn praise. First, the location, close to downtown, parks and shopping. Second, cleanliness: reviewers call the facilities well maintained, updated and tidy.
The weak spot is sound. Several guests mention hearing neighbours and hallway facilities, and some say the air conditioning units are loud. Earplugs, or a request for a room away from shared hallway facilities, may help, though room placement is not guaranteed.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
The reference price was €115.95 per night, about €232 for two nights, seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults. That is 11% below the sample median of €129.81. These are not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
Our Best Value pick, Hampton Inn Los Angeles/Arcadia, scored 8.5 at €131.27 per night. Our Luxury pick, Le Meridien Pasadena Arcadia, scored 8.8 at €157.60. The gap between all three is fairly small in this city, so the Hilton Garden Inn saves you roughly €15 to €42 a night in exchange for a lower score and the noise issue.
Listed facilities include free Wi-Fi, a restaurant, a fitness center, a pool, family rooms and air conditioning. Breakfast is listed as continental, vegetarian and buffet, but whether it is included in your rate is not confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 6 eligible hotels in Arcadia. On guest score this one sat at joint position 6 of 6, the lowest of the group, but 8.3 is still a solid result. It won the Budget slot because it had the lowest eligible reference price once the upscale choice was set aside.
