Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Chilliwack East an IHG Hotel is our Best Value pick for Chilliwack. It is a three-star hotel with a guest score of 8.8 from 397 reviews.
It suits road trippers and drivers, thanks to free parking, and people travelling with pets, as the hotel is tagged as pet friendly. A pool, a gym, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi are listed.
Skip it if you sleep lightly. Guests report constant traffic noise from the adjacent highway, audible throughout the property. Skip it too if price is your main filter: in our reference data it was the most expensive of our three Chilliwack picks.
Location and getting around
The address is 8114 Young Road, next to a highway according to guest feedback. Guests rate the location 8.5.
We have no verified walking times or distances to sights from here. Plan on driving for most trips, and check a map against your own plans before booking. Free parking is listed by the property, which makes a car the practical option.
What guests say
Breakfast earns specific praise. Guests mention a hot and cold selection with eggs, pancakes, fruit and baked beans. It is listed as continental and buffet.
Staff are described as friendly and professional, with helpful service and a warm welcome.
The clear downside is noise. Traffic from the adjacent highway can be heard throughout the property, according to guests. Room size and renovation condition have not been assessed, so check recent reviews if those matter.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 Nov, 2 adults, one room) put this hotel at about €137.99 per night, above the sample median of €102.59. These are not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
Our Budget pick, Vedder River Inn, is three stars, scores 8.5 and was about €78.75 per night. Our Luxury pick, Coast Chilliwack Hotel by APA, is four stars, scores 8.6 and was about €102.59.
So this is the priciest of the three by roughly €35 a night over the Luxury pick. The extra buys the highest guest score of the group, plus a pool and gym. If those do not matter to you, the other two are cheaper. Prices move, so compare all three on the day you book.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 5 eligible properties in Chilliwack. This hotel shared first place on guest score.
Best Value weighs the guest score, the number of reviews and the reference price together, so it is not always the cheapest option. Here, the top score on nearly 400 reviews carried it, even at a higher price.
Before you book
Ask for a room away from the highway side if you are sensitive to noise; whether such rooms exist is not confirmed. Check the pet policy and any fee.
See if breakfast is included in your rate, confirm pool and gym hours, and review the cancellation terms, which we have not assessed.
