By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Book it if the listed free airport shuttle, spa and very broad breakfast range matter to you, and you accept a score of 8.4 from a modest 109 reviews. If not, our Budget pick nearby costs less and scores higher, so compare both before you pay.

This 4-star on Cape Road is our Best Value pick in Freetown. It suits travellers who want plenty of services in one place: the property lists a spa, a gym, a pool, a restaurant, a terrace, family rooms, free parking, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a free airport shuttle.
That shuttle is a practical difference from our Budget pick, Mamba Point Hotel, which does not list one. Our Luxury pick also lists it, at a higher price. If you land late or carry a lot of luggage, it could save time and money. Confirm it for your arrival.
Skip it if guest scores are your main guide. At 8.4, it has the lowest score of our three Freetown picks, and the sample of 109 reviews is the smallest.
Location and getting around
The address is 78A Cape Road. Guests rate the location 8.8 out of 10.
The landmarks in our data are far on foot. St. George's Cathedral, Freetown and the Sierra Leone National Museum are each about 5.7 km away, roughly 71 minutes walking. Freetown Central Mosque is about 6 km, around 75 minutes. These are straight-line estimates. Expect to use a taxi or public transport for the city centre.
Free parking is listed if you have a car or a driver.
What guests say
The score is 8.4 from 109 reviews. It shared third place on review score among the 4 eligible properties we compared.
Our data does not include a summary of what guests specifically like or dislike here. That is a gap, so read a selection of recent reviews before booking, paying attention to rooms, noise and service.
We have not assessed room size, noise, renovation condition or cancellation terms.
Price and how it compares with our other Freetown picks
Our reference price was €209.39 per night, about €419 for two nights. This is a reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults in one room, not a live quote. Check today's price for your dates.
The sample median was €204.81, so this sits slightly above it. Our Budget pick, Mamba Point Hotel, was €191.94 with an 8.8. Our Luxury pick, The Lead Hotel, was €274.82 with a 9.6.
To be direct: the Budget pick was cheaper and better rated in our sample. What this hotel adds is the listed spa and free airport shuttle, plus the widest breakfast range of the three: continental, full English or Irish, vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten-free, American and buffet. Whether breakfast is included in your rate is not confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 4 eligible hotels in Freetown. The Best Value slot balances guest score, review count and reference price, so it is not necessarily the cheapest. With such a small field, this hotel came out as the balanced middle option, with the broadest list of facilities.
Before you book
Confirm the free airport shuttle for your flight times. Ask whether breakfast is included and check spa, gym and pool hours and any fees, since none of this was verified.
Read recent reviews, given the lack of guest summaries in our data, and compare today's rate with Mamba Point Hotel.
