Homewood Suites by Hilton Shreveport Bossier City, LA is our Best Value pick in Bossier City. It is a 3-star hotel with a guest score of 8.8 out of 10 from 140 reviews, the joint highest among the 10 properties we compared.
It suits families (family rooms are listed), drivers who want free parking and travellers flying in, since a free airport shuttle is listed. Guests also rate the buffet breakfast.
Skip it if price is your main concern: our Budget and Luxury picks were both cheaper on the reference dates. If spotless rooms matter above all, read recent reviews first, because cleanliness gets mixed comments.
Location and getting around
The hotel is at 2015 Old Minden Road. Guests rate the location 9.1 out of 10, above the overall score.
The only sight in our data is the Cathedral of St. John Berchmans in Shreveport, about 4.3 km away, or around 54 minutes on foot as a straight-line estimate. That is far for a walk, so plan on a car, public transport or a taxi.
Free parking and a free airport shuttle are listed. Confirm the shuttle's hours and whether it needs booking before you count on it.
What guests say
Staff are described as friendly and helpful, with an easy check-in. The buffet breakfast gets credit for good-quality food.
Cleanliness is the weak spot. Most guests find rooms tidy, but some report dirty floors, stained furniture or odours in the hallways. With 140 reviews, the score rests on a smaller sample than at many hotels. Room size, noise, renovation condition and cancellation terms have not been assessed.
Price and how it compares with our other Bossier City picks
The reference price was €162.96 per night. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 November) for 2 adults, not live quotes. That was slightly above the sample median of €154.56.
The listing names free Wi-Fi, a restaurant, a fitness centre, a pool, free parking, a free airport shuttle, family rooms, air conditioning and a terrace. Breakfast is listed as American and buffet; whether it is in your rate is not confirmed. The listing tags the hotel as pet-friendly, but the policy and any fee are not confirmed.
Here is the unusual part. Our Budget pick, Horseshoe Bossier City Hotel & Casino - A Caesars Rewards Destination, is a 4-star scoring 8.3 at €86.75. Our Luxury pick, Comfort Suites Bossier City - Shreveport East, is a 4-star scoring 8.6 at €128.73. On those dates, this Homewood Suites cost about €34 more than the Luxury pick. You pay for the highest guest score and the listed extras, not for stars.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 10 eligible properties in Bossier City. Best Value balances guest score, number of reviews and reference price, and is not meant to be the cheapest option.
This hotel shared the top review score in the sample. Prices move a lot, so on other dates the gap with our other picks may be smaller or larger.
Before you book
Check today's price for your dates and compare it with our other two picks, since the November 2026 rates are only a reference.
Confirm whether breakfast is included, how the airport shuttle works and the pet policy if relevant. If cleanliness worries you, read the latest reviews and raise any problem at the desk on arrival.
