Yes, it is a good booking for travellers who want a well-rated, quiet base in Alghero at a low price and do not mind a 15-minute walk to the old town. Drivers and families get the most out of it; anyone who wants to step straight into the historic centre should look at our Budget pick.

For about €63 a night, this 3-star hotel scores 8.8 out of 10 from 2,393 reviews, the largest review count of our three Alghero picks. If you want restaurants and old streets right outside the door, it is not the best fit. And if thin walls bother you, read the guest comments on noise below.
Location and getting around
The hotel sits at Via Frank 2, in the area the booking data calls the real heart of Alghero. Despite that label, guests describe it as a quiet residential area about a 15-minute walk from the historic centre. Alghero Cathedral is 1.3 km away, about 16 minutes on foot. The location score is 8.5 out of 10, lower than our other two picks.
The Necropolis of Anghelu Ruju is 9 km away, roughly 113 minutes on foot. That is far, so plan on public transport or a taxi. All walking times are straight-line estimates and have not been verified.
What guests say
Breakfast earns clear praise: a varied buffet with sweet and savoury choices, fresh fruit and outdoor seating on the terrace. Guests also like the calm surroundings and the ease of parking compared with the centre.
On the downside, the hotel is generally described as peaceful, but some guests report hearing noise from corridors, plumbing and adjoining rooms. Note that the breakfast type is not listed in the hotel data, and whether it is included in your rate is not confirmed.
Price and how it compares with our other picks
The reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults was about €63 per night, around 33% below the €94.40 median of the hotels compared. This is a reference price, not a live quote; check today's price for your dates.
Hotel La Margherita & SPA, our Budget pick, was about €60.16 a night, a few euros less, and much closer to the cathedral at 6 minutes, but its score is lower at 8.2. Villa Las Tronas Hotel & SPA, the Luxury pick, scored 9.1 at about €246 a night. Angedras offers the better guest score for almost the same money as the Budget pick; you pay for it with a longer walk.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 7 eligible hotels in Alghero. Hotel Angedras shares third place on guest score and sits a third below the median price. Our Best Value slot balances score, number of reviews and price rather than picking the cheapest, and 2,393 reviews at 8.8 give a lot of confidence for €63.
Before you book
Room size, renovation condition, breakfast inclusion and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Check each on the booking page. Ask whether breakfast is part of your rate and whether terrace seating is used in November. If noise is a worry, request a room away from the lift and corridor. Families should confirm the family room setup.
