This is for couples and families who want a full-service 5-star stay by the sea. The property lists a spa, pool, gym, restaurant, garden, terrace and family rooms.
Dog owners should take note. The listing is tagged pet-friendly, and guests specifically mention a warm welcome for pets as well as people. Confirm the pet fee and rules before you go.
Skip it if price matters more than polish. At around €357 a night, it costs more than double our Budget pick in the same town.
Location and getting around
The address is 46 Avenue George V Bp 70143. Guests rate the location 9.9 out of 10 and describe it as facing the sea, a short walk from the town centre.
Aleth Cathedral is 1.8 km away, about 23 minutes on foot, and Solidor Tower is 1.9 km, about 24 minutes. Saint-Malo Cathedral is 2.6 km away, roughly 33 minutes walking, which is far enough that most people will want public transport or a taxi. These walking times are straight-line estimates, so real routes may take longer.
What guests say
The score is 9.4 out of 10, the highest among the 4 hotels we compared. It comes from 163 reviews, a smaller sample than some big-city hotels, so treat it as strong but not definitive.
Two themes dominate. Guests love the sea-facing position close to the centre, and they praise the staff as professional and smiling. No recurring complaints appear in our data, which is unusual, but it does not mean there are none. Read recent reviews for your season.
Price and how it compares with our other two picks
The reference price was €356.76 a night, about €714 for two nights, seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults. The median of the hotels we compared was €237.29. This is not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.
Royal Emeraude Hotel Dinard - MGallery Collection, our Budget pick, was €162.18 a night with an 8.9 score and 4 stars. Emeria Dinard Thalasso Spa, our Best Value pick, was €180.18 with 8.6 and 4 stars. You pay roughly €175 to €195 more per night here for the fifth star, the top score and the 9.9 location.
Why it made our top 3
Our Luxury slot prioritises officially rated 5-star hotels. This one has 5 stars and held the top review score of the 4 eligible hotels in our Dinard sample, so the choice was clear.
