Hôtel Barrière Le Normandy
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Book it if you want an official 5-star hotel in Deauville with a spa, pool and gym, and you accept paying close to four times our Best Value pick. If you mainly want a well-rated room, our cheaper picks score only slightly lower for a fraction of the price.

This is our Luxury pick for Deauville. The property lists a gym, a spa, a pool, a restaurant, family rooms, air conditioning, a garden and a terrace. That makes it a fit for couples and families who want to spend time at the hotel itself, not just sleep there.
Budget-minded travellers should skip it. The gap in guest score between this hotel and our Best Value pick is just 0.2 points, while the gap in price is close to €390 a night. Pet owners will see a pets tag in our data, but the policy and fees are not confirmed.
Location and getting around
The address is 38 rue Jean Mermoz, in the area the provider labels as the real centre of Deauville. The location score is 9.5 out of 10.
Beach appears in the provider's facility list, but that does not confirm a beachfront position or a walking distance to the sand. We have no verified walking times to sights or the station for this hotel. Check the address on a map before booking, and ask the hotel about parking, which is not listed in our data, as are transport options.
What guests say
The guest score is 8.7 out of 10 from 544 reviews, joint first among the 4 eligible hotels in the sample. That is a solid score from a reasonable number of reviews.
Our data holds no summary of specific likes or dislikes for this hotel, so we cannot tell you what guests praise or complain about most. Read recent reviews before you pay this much, with an eye on room size, noise and the condition of the room type you choose, none of which has been assessed.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
The reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults was €524.92 a night, against a sample median of €129.31. These are reference prices, not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
Our Budget pick, Almoria Hôtel & SPA, scored 8.4 at 3 stars for €110.74 a night. Our Best Value pick, You Hotel Deauville - Handwritten Collection, scored 8.5 at 4 stars for €138.87. Le Normandy adds a fifth star, a pool, a gym and a spa, but its guest score is only a little higher.
Breakfast styles listed are continental, American and buffet. Whether breakfast is included in your rate is not confirmed, and at this price it is worth checking.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 4 eligible hotels in Deauville. For the Luxury slot, official 5-star hotels get priority, and Le Normandy holds 5 stars. It also tied for the best guest score in a small sample. Note that 4 hotels is a short list, so the comparison is narrower than in larger cities.
Before you book
Confirm what the rate includes, especially breakfast and spa access, and read the cancellation terms. Check pool and spa opening times and fees for November. Ask how far the beach is if that matters to you. Ask about parking if you drive and about the pet policy if you travel with an animal.
