Hotel Belsoggiorno
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Book it if you want friendly service and an easy walk to the centre, the beaches and the cycle path, at a price that matches the Sanremo median. Skip it if modern, fully equipped rooms are a priority, because some guests find rooms dated.

This hotel is a good fit for couples and families who want a relaxed seaside stay in Sanremo without paying luxury prices. Family rooms are listed by the property. Cyclists will like that guests mention the cycle path within a short walk.
Staff are the biggest plus here, so travellers who value a personal welcome tend to do well.
If you are picky about room fittings, think twice. Some guests say certain rooms lack amenities or feel dated. That is the trade-off at this price.
Location and getting around
The hotel is at Corso Matuzia 41. Guests score the location 9.0 and say it is a short walk to the town centre, the beaches and the cycle path.
Teatro Ariston is about 1.4 km away, roughly 18 minutes on foot on a straight-line estimate. The other two sights in our data are much further. Villa Margherita in Bordighera is about 8.2 km away and the Bicknell Museum about 8.3 km, both well over an hour and a half on foot. Those are far, so plan on public transport or a taxi for day trips to Bordighera.
Parking is not listed in our data, so check with the hotel if you arrive by car.
What guests say
From 692 reviews, the guest score is 8.8. The staff come first in the praise: friendly, professional and helpful, with a warm welcome. Location is the second recurring positive, thanks to the short walk to the centre and the sea.
The criticism is about value and rooms. Guests call the rates competitive, but some rooms lack amenities or feel dated. If that matters, ask which rooms are the most recently updated before you book.

Why it made our top 3
Sanremo was a small sample: we compared 5 eligible properties. Belsoggiorno held a joint 3rd place on guest score with a review base of 692, priced right at the median.
Our Best Value slot balances score, number of reviews and price, rather than picking the cheapest hotel. Among the options left after the Budget and Luxury picks, this one gave the most balanced result.
