This is our Best Value pick in Treviso. It suits couples, families and business travellers who want to walk to the old town and start the day with a big breakfast. Family rooms are listed and the data tags it as pet friendly, so confirm the pet rules first.
Skip it if room size is your top concern. Some guests found their room spacious, others small and cramped. If you want the lowest price, our Budget pick costs about €40 less per night.
Location and getting around
The hotel is at Largo Porta Altinia, 15. Guests rate the location 9.3 out of 10 and describe a central position near the old town and the river, within walking distance of shops.

Room size is the main mixed point. Some rooms are described as spacious, while others felt small and cramped.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
The reference price was €154.96 per night, about €310 for two nights. That is a reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults, not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates. It matched the sample median of €154.96 exactly.
Listed facilities include free Wi-Fi, a fitness center, a terrace, family rooms and air conditioning. Breakfast options are continental, Italian, gluten-free and buffet. Whether breakfast is included in your rate is not confirmed.
Our Budget pick, Hotel Continental, is a 4-star scoring 8.2 at €114.90 a night. Our Luxury pick, Porta Altinia Suites, is a 4-star scoring 8.6 at €184.08. Carlton sits between them on both price and score, which is what a Best Value pick should do.
Why it made our top 3
We compared only 3 eligible hotels in Treviso, so this is a small sample and all three made our list. Carlton took the Best Value slot because it balances guest score, number of reviews and reference price. It held the second review-score position of the 3. It is not the cheapest option, and it does not claim to be.
Before you book
Ask for a larger room if space matters, and check the square metres on the booking page. Confirm whether breakfast is in your rate. If you bring a pet, ask about rules and fees. Cancellation terms and noise were not assessed. Compare today's price with the €154.96 reference.
