Hotel Casali
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Book it if you want a 4-star hotel within walking distance of Cesena's cathedral and main square, with a spa, a gym and a generous breakfast. If price is your deciding factor, note that it cost more than our Luxury pick in the reference dates, and some guests call the rooms dated.

This 4-star hotel holds a guest score of 8.6 out of 10 from 488 reviews. It suits travellers who like a full breakfast and some extras: a spa and wellness center, a gym, a restaurant and a garden are listed, along with family rooms.
People with dietary needs should take note of breakfast, which is listed as continental, Italian and gluten-free, served as a buffet. Pets appear in the listing, though conditions are not confirmed.
Skip it if you want fresh, modern rooms or the lowest price. Some guests feel the dated condition does not justify the cost.
Location and getting around
The address is Via B. Croce 81, with a location score of 8.8. Cesena Cathedral is about 0.8 km away, roughly 10 minutes on foot. Piazza del Popolo is about 1 km, around 13 minutes, and the Abbey of St Maria del Monte about 1.3 km, around 16 minutes.
These are straight-line estimates, so real routes may take a little longer. Still, all three sights in our data are within a reasonable walk. Parking is not listed among the facilities, so ask the hotel if you are driving.
What guests say
Breakfast leads the praise, with an abundant buffet of sweet and savory items and fresh fruit. Staff are described as friendly, welcoming, helpful and courteous.
Opinion splits on value. Some guests find the pricing reasonable, while others say the dated condition of the hotel does not match what they paid.
Price compared with our other two picks

That makes this Best Value choice the most expensive of the three for those dates, and the Luxury pick scored slightly higher. What you get here is the spa, gym, garden and a well-liked breakfast. Whether breakfast is included in your rate is not confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
Only 4 eligible properties were in our sample for Cesena, a small field. This hotel shared second place on guest score. The Best Value slot balances score, number of reviews and price, and 488 reviews at 8.6 with a price close to the median earned it the place.
