Hotel Duran is a 4-star hotel and our Luxury pick in Figueres. It suits anyone coming for the Dalí Theatre and Museum, couples on a short break, and families, since family rooms are listed. A restaurant is also listed, and guests mention staff who speak several languages.
Skip it if you need easy parking. Guests say the secure car park nearby has tight spaces and awkward access. If you want something more spacious in the grand sense, note that this is a four-star, not a five-star hotel.
Location and getting around
The address is Lasauca, 5. Guests rate the location 9.5 and describe a central setting a short walk from the Dalí Museum and local restaurants.
By our straight-line estimates, the Dalí Theatre and Museum is about 0.2 km away, around 3 minutes on foot. Sant Ferran Castle is about 1.4 km, roughly 18 minutes. Peralada Castle is about 6.3 km, around 79 minutes walking, which is far; you will need a car, taxi or public transport for that trip.
The parking guests mention is a secure facility nearby, not necessarily on site. Ask about the price and how to reach it before you arrive.
What guests say
The 8.9 score comes from 3,956 reviews and placed joint 1st of 8 eligible hotels in our Figueres sample.
Guests praise the central location close to the Dalí Museum and restaurants, and the staff, described as friendly and professional, with a warm welcome and several languages spoken.
The main complaint is parking: the nearby facility is secure, but spaces are tight and access can be difficult, which matters if you drive a larger car. Breakfast is listed as a buffet, with a breakfast-to-go option. Whether it is included in your rate is not confirmed.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
We saw a reference price of €74.96 a night for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults, about €150 in total, almost exactly the sample median of €74.46. These are reference prices, not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
Our Budget pick, Hotel Los Angeles, was €61.98 a night with 8.4 and 2 stars. Our Best Value pick, Ibis Styles Figueres Ronda, was €72.63 with 8.8 and 3 stars. The step up here is small: about €2 a night more than the Best Value pick buys the highest score, a fourth star and the closest walk to the museum. Listed facilities are a restaurant, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 8 eligible hotels in Figueres. For the Luxury slot we look for five-star hotels first; a four-star hotel can take the slot only if it scores at least 8.5. Hotel Duran cleared that with 8.9, the top review score in the sample.
In a city where the gap between our three picks is small, it offers the strongest overall package.
Before you book
Room size, noise, renovation condition, breakfast inclusion and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Read the room description and rate conditions closely.
If you drive, ask about the parking price, size limits and access. Check whether breakfast is included, and book Dalí museum tickets separately, as the hotel's closeness does not include entry.
