Hôtel In Situ is our Luxury pick in Béziers. It holds an official 4-star rating and a guest score of 8.8 out of 10 from 868 reviews. The property lists a swimming pool, which is an outdoor pool, plus a garden, a terrace, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. It is also tagged for spa, though no spa appears in the main facility list, so confirm what that covers.
It suits couples who want calm and a pool in the warmer months, and travellers who like local tips from the staff. Skip it if you want to sleep inside the historic centre, or if you count on eggs or bacon at breakfast.
Location and getting around
The address is 67 Avenue Du 22 Aout 1944. Guests describe a quiet setting a short walk from the town centre and local restaurants. The location score is 8.9, lower than our other two picks, which are closer to the cathedral.
Béziers Cathedral is about 1.1 km away, roughly 14 minutes on foot. The Fonseranes Locks are about 2.3 km, around 29 minutes. The Malpas Tunnel is about 8.8 km, some 110 minutes on foot, which is far: plan on public transport or a taxi. Walking times are straight-line estimates.
What guests say
Guests like the quiet location and the staff. The team is described as friendly and helpful, and several reviews mention good local restaurant recommendations.
Breakfast draws the main criticism. The buffet is fresh, but it lacks hot options such as eggs or bacon. If you need a cooked breakfast, plan to eat out.
Price and value against our other Béziers picks
The reference price was €142.88 per night, seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults. That is about €286 for both nights, above the city sample median of €108.54. These are reference prices, not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
Hôtel le XIX, our Best Value pick, was €136.14 per night with a score of 8.9 and 3 stars. Hôtel La Prison, our Budget pick, was €100.54 with a score of 8.6. In Situ cost only about €7 a night more than le XIX in our reference dates. For that you get the fourth star, an outdoor pool and a garden, but a less central address.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 5 eligible hotels in Béziers. Our Luxury slot looks for five-star hotels first; when none qualifies, a four-star hotel must score at least 8.5. In Situ passed with 8.8 and ranked joint second on guest score in the sample.
Its small price premium over our Best Value pick makes it a reasonable step up for travellers who care more about calm than about being in the old town.
Before you book
Check today's price for your dates. In November, ask whether the outdoor pool is open. Confirm whether breakfast is included and whether any spa services exist, since our data does not confirm them.
Parking, room size, noise, the condition of the rooms and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Ask the hotel about parking if you are driving.
