Hotel Leonessa suits travellers arriving by train or bus, drivers who want free parking, and families, since family rooms are listed. Pets are also listed as allowed. With 8.7 out of 10 from 3,060 reviews, the score rests on a large base.
Food lovers who see breakfast as part of the trip may be let down. Guests say the buffet has sweet and savoury options but the choice is limited and fresh fruit is missing.
Location and getting around
You will find it at 7 A Via Sostegno. Guests mention immediate access to the train station, metro and bus terminals, and a walk of about 10 minutes to the historic centre.
Our distance data agrees. The Old Cathedral is about 1 km away, roughly 13 minutes on foot. The New Cathedral and the Pinacoteca Tosio Martinengo are each about 1.1 km, around 14 minutes. These are straight-line estimates, so allow a little more. The location score is 8.9 out of 10.
What guests say
Praise centres on location and transport. Being close to the station makes day trips and arrivals simple, and the old town is within a short walk.
Breakfast draws the main criticism, for the reasons above. Room size, noise and the state of the rooms have not been assessed, so check recent reviews if those matter to you.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults were €92.38 per night, against a sample median of €96.44. That is only about 4% below. These are not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
The gap with our other Brescia picks is small, and one is cheaper. Hotel Ambasciatori, our Best Value choice, was €100.50 with a score of 8.6 and 4 stars. Santellone Lifestyle Resort, our Luxury choice, came in at €75 per night with 8.8 and 4 stars, which is below this hotel's price in the same check. If you want a 4-star, compare that one carefully.
Listed facilities include free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a 24-hour front desk, free parking and family rooms. A continental and buffet breakfast is listed; whether it is included in your rate is not confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
Only 4 eligible properties made the comparison in Brescia, so the field was small. Hotel Leonessa shared 2nd place on guest score and was the lowest eligible reference price once the upscale pick was reserved. Its large review count and transport access sealed the Budget slot.
Before you book
Confirm that parking is still free for your dates and whether you need to reserve a space. Check if breakfast is included. Ask about cancellation terms. Compare today's price with Santellone Lifestyle Resort and Hotel Ambasciatori, since the three were close in the reference check.
