This 2-star hotel is our Best Value pick in Forlì. It suits people who care more about a clean room and a good breakfast than about a lobby or extra facilities. Guests rate it 9.2 out of 10 from 2,444 reviews, a big sample for a small hotel.
Drivers will like the free parking. Families can look at the family rooms the property lists. Business travellers get free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a 24-hour front desk.
If you sleep lightly, read the noise comments below before booking. And if you want a spa, pool or restaurant, nothing like that appears in our data for this hotel.
Location and getting around
The hotel is at Via Giovita Lazzarini 20. Guests give the location 9.3 out of 10, higher than the overall score. Our estimates put San Mercuriale Abbey and Piazza Saffi about 0.8 km away, roughly 10 minutes on foot. These walking times are straight-line estimates, so real routes may take a little longer.
Monte Poggiolo is a different story. At about 7 km, or some 88 minutes on foot, it is far. Plan on public transport or a taxi, or use the free parking and drive.
What guests say
Cleanliness is the standout. Reviewers describe the rooms as spotless and kept to a high standard every day. Breakfast is the other favourite: an abundant buffet with fresh products, cakes and croissants. It is listed as Italian and buffet style.
The weak point is soundproofing. Most guests find the hotel quiet, but some report noise from the ventilation and from the hallway. Earplugs are a cheap fix if you are sensitive to sound.
Price and how it compares with our other Forlì picks
Our reference price was €87 per night for 2 adults, about €174 for two nights. This is a reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026, not a live quote. Check today's price for your dates.
Hotel Gardenia, our Budget pick, was €69 a night, but it scores 8.0. Our Luxury pick, Borgo Conde Wine Resort, scores 9.3 at €642.12 a night, more than seven times the price. For most travellers, Hotel Lory gives the best balance: it costs €18 a night more than the cheapest pick and scores more than a full point higher.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 7 eligible hotels in Forlì. Hotel Lory shared second place on guest score. As a Best Value choice, it was selected for the mix of score, review volume and price, not for being the cheapest.
The 2,444 reviews give the 9.2 rating real weight, and the strong location score adds to the case.
