Hotel Los Monteros
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Worth booking if you want the cheapest central bed in our Ciudad Victoria sample and can live with firm, ageing mattresses. Skip it if a good night's sleep is the priority, because for about €13 more our Luxury pick scores far higher.

This is our Budget pick for Ciudad Victoria, a 3-star hotel in the Zona Centro. It suits short stays, business trips on a tight allowance and travellers who will spend most of the day out and need a central, simple base with air conditioning and free parking.
Light sleepers and anyone with back trouble should think twice. The one consistent complaint is about beds, and our other two picks score much better for not much more money.
Location and getting around
The address is Hidalgo Oriente 962, Zona Centro. Guests describe a central setting within easy reach of local points of interest, and the location score is 9.1.
Ciudad Victoria Cathedral is 0.6 km away, about 8 minutes on foot as a straight-line estimate. We have no other verified distances in our data, so check the route to any meetings or sights you plan to visit. Free parking is listed if you arrive by car.
What guests say
The score is 8.2 out of 10 from 355 reviews. Guests like the central location and say the rates offer a fair balance between quality and cost.
The weak point is clear: guests describe mattresses and pillows as hard, uncomfortable and showing signs of age. That is worth taking seriously. Room size, noise and renovation condition have not been assessed beyond this feedback.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
The reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults was €53.14 per night, about 34% below the sample median of €80.58. These are reference prices, not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
Here the comparison is unusual. Our Luxury pick, Victoria Inn, was only €66.25 a night with a score of 9.4 at 4 stars. Our Best Value pick, Best Western Santorin, was €98.04 with a score of 9.3, also 4 stars. Los Monteros saves you about €13 a night over Victoria Inn, but its score is more than a point lower. Over two nights that is a saving of around €26.
Listed facilities include a restaurant, a garden, free Wi-Fi, free parking and air conditioning. American breakfast is listed. Whether breakfast is included in your rate is not confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 8 eligible hotels in Ciudad Victoria. Los Monteros had the lowest eligible reference price once the upscale choice was set aside, which is how we fill the Budget slot. Its review score sits last of the 8, joint position 8, so it earns its place on price and location, not on guest score.
Before you book
Ask whether newer mattresses are available or whether some rooms have been updated. Check whether breakfast is included. Confirm parking for your dates. Compare the live price with Victoria Inn, as the gap may be small enough to change your choice. Read the cancellation terms, which we have not assessed.
