Hotel Perun

Hotel Perun is worth booking if you want a 4-star room in Budva at a low price and you have a car or do not mind taxis. If you want detailed guest feedback before you commit, be aware that we have little to go on beyond the score.

Price-conscious travellers get the most from this one. It was our Budget pick, yet it carries 4 stars and an 8.5 guest score. Drivers benefit from the free parking listed by the property, and families can look at the listed family rooms.
Skip it if you want to walk out of the door and onto a beach. The nearest beach in our data, Jaz Beach, is a little over 30 minutes on foot. Also skip it if you need firm details on rooms, noise or breakfast, because the guest summaries we normally use are missing for this hotel.
Location and getting around
The address is 8 Cetinjska. Guests give the location a 9.3 out of 10, which is strong.
Podmaine Monastery is about 1.8 km away, roughly 23 minutes on foot. Jaz Beach is about 2.5 km away, around 31 minutes, so it counts as far: plan on a taxi or public transport if you do not want the walk. Praskvica Monastery is about 6.4 km away, roughly 80 minutes on foot, which is clearly a trip by car, taxi or public transport.
All walking times are straight-line estimates, not tested routes. Check real routes for your dates.
What guests say
The guest score is 8.5 out of 10 from 364 reviews. That is a good score on a moderate number of reviews.
Here is the honest part: we do not have summarised likes or dislikes for this hotel. We cannot tell you what guests praise or complain about, so we will not guess. Before you book, read a handful of recent reviews and look for comments on room size, noise, cleanliness and breakfast.
For context, Budva hotels in our sample scored well overall. In our comparison, Hotel Perun shared the lowest review-score position of the 14 eligible hotels. An 8.5 is still a good score, but the other two picks rate higher.
Price and what you get, compared with our other Budva picks
The reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026, for 2 adults, was €64.56 a night, about €129 in total. This is not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.
The property lists free parking, family rooms, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a terrace. Breakfast is listed as buffet, but whether it is included in your rate is not confirmed.
Our Best Value pick, Fontana Hotel & Gastronomy, was €103 a night with 4 stars and a 9.0 score. Our Luxury pick, Merit Starlit Hotel & Residences, was €261.57 a night with 5 stars and a 9.5 score. Perun saves you close to €40 a night against Fontana for the same star rating, at the cost of a lower score.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 14 eligible hotels in Budva. Hotel Perun had the lowest eligible reference price once the upscale choice was set aside. It pairs that price with 4 stars, a 9.3 location score and free parking.
For a budget slot, that is a solid package, even if its guest score is not the best in town.
