Hotel Polonia

By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.

Hotel Polonia is worth booking if you want a clean, well-reviewed room a short walk from the centre at well under the city median. Skip it if you have heavy luggage or limited mobility, because guests report there is no lift.

Who it suits and who should skip it

This is our Best Value pick in Rzeszów. It is a 2-star hotel, but guests rate it 8.7 out of 10 across 3,148 reviews, the largest review count of our three Rzeszów picks. Listed facilities include a restaurant, family rooms, a 24-hour front desk and free Wi-Fi. Pets are listed as accepted.

It suits travellers who care most about a clean room and a fair price, and who are happy to walk a few minutes to the centre. The 24-hour front desk helps with late arrivals.

Skip it if you cannot carry bags up stairs, or if you want air conditioning, which is not listed for this hotel. The star rating is modest, so do not expect extra facilities.

Location and getting around

The address is ul. Grottgera 16, and the location score is 9.5 out of 10. Guests say it is a short walk to the city centre, a shopping mall and local restaurants.

By our straight-line estimate, Rzeszów Castle is about 1.2 km away, roughly 15 minutes on foot. Real routes can take a little longer.

Specific bus links and parking are not confirmed in our data. If you are driving, ask the hotel about parking before you arrive.

What guests say

Cleanliness is the standout. Guests consistently describe the rooms and the rest of the property as spotless, tidy and well maintained. The location close to the centre and the mall is the other common point of praise.

The clear complaint is the lack of a lift. Guests say they had to carry heavy luggage up the stairs. If you are given a room on an upper floor, that can be a real issue, so ask for a lower floor if you need one.

Price compared with our other two picks

The reference price was 68.19 euros per night. That is a reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults in one room, not a live quote. The sample median was 94.66 euros, so this hotel came in about 28% below it. Check today's price for your dates.

Our Budget pick, Ambasadorski Residence, is a 3-star property that scored 8.5 at about 58.43 euros per night. It sits on the market square, but guests often mention stained carpets. Our Luxury pick, Hotel Bristol Tradition and Luxury, is a 5-star hotel that scored 9.2 at about 151.23 euros per night.

For about 10 euros more than the Budget pick, you get a higher score and much better cleanliness reports. That trade is why it holds the Best Value slot.

Why it made our top 3

We compared 9 eligible properties in Rzeszów. The Best Value choice weighs the guest score, the number of reviews and the reference price, so it is not necessarily the cheapest. Hotel Polonia placed joint fifth of nine on review score, but that 8.7 rests on 3,148 reviews and comes at a price well below the median.

Before you book

Room size, noise, the condition of the rooms, whether breakfast is included and the cancellation terms have not been assessed. Check them in your rate details.

Ask which floor your room is on, given there is no lift. Breakfast options listed include Continental, vegetarian, gluten-free, buffet and breakfast to go, which is useful for early departures, but confirm whether your rate covers it.
