Guests who value calm will like the setting. Reviews describe it as being in a quiet park, near bus stops and a short walk from the town centre.
The property lists a spa, a gym, a restaurant, a garden and a terrace, so it works if you want to unwind after a day out. The tags also mark it as pet-friendly.

Location and getting around
The address is Seestrasse 47. Thun Castle is 1.7 km away, about 21 minutes on foot.
Oberhofen Castle is 3.1 km away, around 39 minutes on foot. That is far for most people, so plan on public transport or a taxi. Spiez Castle is 7.4 km away, roughly 93 minutes on foot, and clearly needs transport.
Walking times are straight-line estimates, so real routes may take longer. Guests give the location 9.3 out of 10, the strongest number in this hotel's profile.
What guests say
The overall score is 8.0 out of 10 from 995 reviews. That is a large sample.
Staff get good comments, especially at reception and at the bar, where service is described as friendly and professional. The quiet park location is the other common positive.
Breakfast divides opinion. The buffet selection is described as extensive, but guests say the dining room lacks atmosphere and tables are cleared slowly. The listed breakfast type is continental.
Price and value compared with our other Thun picks
Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026, for 2 adults in one room, were €224.98 per night, about €450 in total. These are not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
That rate matched the sample median exactly. Here is the honest part: our Budget pick, Hotel Aare Thun, was €191.10 per night with a score of 8.7, so it was both cheaper and better rated. Our Luxury pick, Deltapark Vitalresort, was €460.02 with a score of 8.9. All three are 4-star hotels.
What Seepark adds over the Budget pick, based on the listed facilities, is a spa, gym and garden in a park setting. Check whether those matter enough to you to pay about €34 more per night.
Why it made our top 3
We compared only 3 eligible hotels in Thun. Our Best Value pick balances guest score, number of reviews and reference price. Seepark brings a large review base of 995 and a high location score of 9.3, which kept it in the list, but it is not the cheapest and not the best rated.
